I might be dead wrong, but it sounds like people will only be happy if Clementine pairs up with some sort of Marty Stu. Gabe was a bitch boy, but all teenagers tend to be bitch boys @ some point or another (I'm man enough to admit I had my moments). It would have been better to see him grow and get out of that stage with Clementine's help. But TWD seems to have fallen into this trend where they kill off anyone the audience complains about instead of taking the time to try and build them into stronger characters. Remember back in Season 2 when Carol was useless AF and Rick was still officer friendly? Times change. Father Gabriel is our most recent example.
You know what would be awesome though? If Clementine and another (or several other) kids had a TLOU: Left Behind moment where they are just fucking around in an abandoned mall or arcade. You know? Give this girl a chance to lighten the hell up and be a kid for once. It doesn't necessarily need to be romance but she does need some peers.

Yeah, pretty much what it sounds like.

That's definitely one of my main problems with both ANF's finale and the game series in general. Gabe was their perfect to avert that and break several trends in the process, but they caved in when it was all said and done in favor of appealing to the Gaybentime audience, panderible or petty. And I will admit that it's one of the things that really weakened what compact amounts of enthusiasm I could've regained for this series.

It was very poorly done, imo. I didn't even pick up on it. It was obvious that Jesus was flirting but on Javi's part, I thought he was just complimenting Jesus and Jesus took it as he was flirting.
Clem was more than friends with Gabe. If he lives, there's a part during the haircut scene where if Javi mentiones Gabe's crush on her she reveals she has a crush on him too and if he dies, she will kiss him, hug him, or hold his hands (based on certain actions in past games).
TLDR
Clem was friends with Duck back in S1, then in S3 she became friends with Gabe. Now i wouldn't rly ship those two together per séy, … morebut i think she's better off on her own without a guy by her side tbh. i mean look how much she's grown! :O Heck, she left Richmond at the of episode 5 in search of aj all on her own. So i think she'll be fine. ^.^
I didn't pick the option at all, but I hear ya. I 'm pretty sure it was originally just there for his fans and they had to establish Javier as bisexual to make it work.

Maybe they are the same age physically meaning, but Gave is an immature shitty teenage, when Clem have to find ressources to survive alone b… morey herself she more adult than he would ever be ,
Their relation is so forced !
I'd like to se if there is a way to calculate how many hours they really ( in actual real time) are gathered in the same place !
In my game it shouldn't be more than 3 full hours maybe more, it is why that relationship is so stupid and forced

Yes absolutely. As long as there is actual chemistry, the relationship is believable and Clementine does not fall in love with the first boy she sees because "OMG there's a boy around Clem's age I ship them soo hard!"
I hope Telltale takes the heavy criticism towards Gabentine to heart and creates a better developed relationship in season 4.

I wouldn't mind if they brought another boy her age into the story as long as the ship wasn't painfully forced or rushed. If TT gives the two time to have meaningful interactions at a platonic level and gradually let them move up to a romantic relationship then I'd be able to support the ship.

I agree that they shouldn't have killed Gabe or made him determinant. The thing that sucked about Gabe is he always screwed up when you needed him. You would think the pressures would have made him mature much faster. Still Seeing him make it through that phase of a total screw up would be pretty good, just he is not good enough for Clem, ever.

Yeah there's a way to save both Kate and Gabe, or both Gabe and David, but David or Kate will die and there's no way to save both. There are ways to handle Clem's flashbacks that make her either
stick with Javi when Gabe and David split from the group,
insist on splitting up, going wherever Javi doesn't go so if Javi goes with Kate, Clem goes for Gabe or if Javi goes after Gabe, Clem goes with Kate.
go after Gabe regardless of what Javi does
or go with Kate regardless of what Javi does.
If Kate goes to Richmond alone, she dies. If no one goes after Gabe, he dies along with David. If both Javi and Clem go after Gabe, he and David both live but Kate will die. If one person goes with Kate and one person goes after Gabe, Kate and Gabe will both live but David will die. All that said, Kate can disappear if Clem goes with her while Javi goes for Gabe. I'm not entirely certain but I believe it's related to the conversation between Kate and Javi in the armored truck in season 4, when they're waiting to go save David. When Kate asks about officially being a thing Javi can tell her feels the same way or shut her down and I think if Javi shuts her down and Clem is the one to go with Kate, she survives but leaves without saying anything because she's too heartbroken because Clem says they got separated after sealing the breach and she's never seen again whereas if she dies when she goes alone, you find her as a walker.
I think she needs someone to bring a little fun to her life, and make her do crazy teen stuff. Not teen enough to put themselves in danger, … morebut, idk, sit next to a fireplace and talk about school or fighting over the last bar of chocolate. And annoying jokes. She really needs some annoying jokes to relax. Plus, someone a little more innocent than her. Someone that can take care of themselves, but wouldn't like to pull the trigger, and tries to get Clem to act a little less violent. And quirky, like, listens to weird music when driving or some shit like that, but again, not enough to be dangerous. And someone tha we care about, not only Clem. And start as friends, not as lovers out of the blue. Yeah, that.
You're totally right, I just wish that friend was Mariana, she was funny and smart. Gabe's character reminds me too much of David and Kenny. I don't think that's good for her. I really don't understand why they made her for some of you like that, that's really out of character for Clem to like this kind of hotheaded fool.

U should flag em and say "My post came up more than once and needs deleted." Helps ME out.
... perfectly content with Gabe' death.

Probably there was LAG.

An Idea For Clem DLC: First Half of Part 1
Yeah, pretty much what it sounds like.

I'm interested in romance in video games.
True, all a matter of perspective though.
is there a way to save him? :O cuz he died in my gameplay.
Yes absolutely. As long as there is actual chemistry, the relationship is believable and Clementine does not fall in love with the first boy she sees because "OMG there's a boy around Clem's age I ship them soo hard!"

Actually, I'd rather they hold off on doing that kind of thing again for a while.
I wouldn't mind if they brought another boy her age into the story as long as the ship wasn't painfully forced or rushed. If TT gives the two time to have meaningful interactions at a platonic level and gradually let them move up to a romantic relationship then I'd be able to support the ship.
No, what I mean is that I'd rather they leave shipping out of the story. All it did was hold back certain characters.
Oh okay I understand.Though I think the reason for that was the low quality of the writing and not the shipping itself.
Yeah just make Javi go to get gabe and not Katr.

If they were to revisit romance for her, I think like this would be best!
