What was the TWD forum like back in S1?
I know not many people from S1 are around now, but for those that are, what was the forum like back then? What were the big points of discussion and theories going around? Do you remember how people reacted to Lee getting bitten, and what the expectations were for the finale? I'm assuming that the Carley/Doug and Larry choices must have heated up the forum quite a bit.

I started using the forum during S1E3 release back in 2012-ish? The S1 forum had a different UI/format that got overhauled in late 2012. The old format that was blue and looked 2007-era
During s1, the forum was hella more active. Prior to E4, I'd say half of the front page at any time were Lilly vs Kenny threads, with x10000000 the salt and rage of Jane vs Kenny. The rest was probably one fifth complaining about ben and another fifth about how hot Carley is and how pissed they were at telltale for killing her lmao
After E4 release, the forum completely blew up and became 99% theories and conspiracies for how Lee could survive, from the bite actually being a scratch from his watch, to him being the sole human immune to the walker virus.
E5 release, 50% people talking about how much the game made them cry and 50% Lee didn't die!! threads
Literally that. I didn't pick up S1 until like after I saw that ep. 5 came out and played them all out once. The forum was either filled with the Larry-Kenny dilemma and the "illusion of a choice" with Carly and Doug. I myself participated in these discussions but really I think we were all just trying to waste time and get it out of our system until S2 came out.

I joined the forum in S2 (different username) and missed all of that. I do remember the occasional "Lee isn't dead / will come back" thread though.
