You'll be called a Pedo lol, The Same thing happened to me with TWDG Twitter Community after i wrote a story of Clementine getting Raped, Ev… moreeryone lashed out at me but that was months ago. With Clem's hair i Fucking Hate it, She looks like a Lesbian with it IMO
You really think she'll forget Lee? In reality she only had that hair for about a week before Lee died. The frizzy hair was the hair she had most of the time with Lee.
So she can remember the sacrifice Lee, and many others, made to keep her alive. As well a reminder that she is honoring Lee's legacy by continuing to survive.
I never played anf. I didn't agree with the direction they were taking the series in. I had that feeling deep I my gut that it would suck and I seem to have been right. Regardless a couple months after the season ended I considered playing it. Until I saw the haircut she gets, and I promptly swore off ever playing past season 2. It looks like millennial teeny bopper ass. Maybe one day she changes her hair, and that's okay, but it has to be an earned and significant moment. Her old look has a lot of history and meaning. And yet it happens in a season where she's not even a big part off. It's fucking retarded is what it is.
But I guess I saw this sort of thing coming when they said they were making the season "newcomer friendly".
Meh I mean it wasn't a great hairstyle but I'm pretty sure it was meant to be kinda terrible judging by Javi's reaction to it. I guess I'm not all that bothered by her hair because I don't really care about Clementine anymore, at least not the "grown up survivor" Clem in ANF. Hopefully that will change with The Final Season.
Yeah. I don't think any father (figure) expects his daughter to keep the same hairstyle from 8 until the day she dies because he died (even if saving her). What Lee left her was the lessons he taught her. Not a specific hairstyle.
Wouldn't she eventually desire to change up hairstyles? Could be that she requested Javier to give her something different perhaps off scree… moren. She's changing as a character and young lady. Seems fitting given the times of the current game along with her escalating maturity.
See, if you say stuff like that, you shouldn't be writing about rape.
Rape is a big deal. I'm not saying it shouldn't be written about. Fuck, I'm not saying it shouldn't be written about involving children because unfortunately, it does happen. But it's something that should be written about with respect. With an attitude like that, I'm somehow doubting you wrote about it with the care it deserved.
Here's what Kirkman wrote in the letter page on the issue Carl was sexually assaulted and almost raped:
"This was a tough one. No two ways about it.... sometimes writing this comic is hard. Just the panel where Carl's pants are being pulled off - that was really unsettling. I knew it was going to happen. I had it plotted out - but putting it on the screen in my script, well.... I cringed a little.
I the script, I felt compelled to assure Charle that the man trying to rape Carl wouldn't succeed.
Not really sure what point I'm trying to make here.... other than there definitely parts of this comic that Charlie and I do not produce with GLEE."
Notice how the writer of Walking Dead itself took time to address the seriousness of an attempted rape. Because it's a fucking terrible thing. I have no interest reading your fan fic. So, I'm not going to have a "fair" opinion. But considering your flippant concern with the issue, I'm going to guess those "kids on Twitter" were right.
Meh. It's fine. I lean towards liking it. Clem deciding to change her hair is natural. Frankly, it's kind of amazing she hasn't changed it before. As long as she's keeping short, I doubt Lee would mind.
From a story perspective, it was a bit unearned due to the fact that it was clearly supposed to represent Clem growing up. Which is fine. The problem comes in that A New Frontier was totally devoid of a character arc. I guess you could claim her learning AJ was alive and changing her motivations. But that doesn't have anything to do with growing up. Clem before the game cared for AJ above all else. So, there's no actual change in Clem's personality. Just new information.
Despite how unearned it was, I don't really care that much. A New Frontier has bigger problems than the ending haircut.

Kind of hard to feel sympathy for the person thinking that the rape of a 13 year-old girl isn't a big deal. And yeah, she's fictional. But so is Carl, yet the author of the comics talked about how hard it is.
You may not be a pedo or school shooter (I admit, that makes no sense, at least out of context), but it is pretty messed up you don't seem to take the subject with the seriousness it deserves (equating to Clem's "lesbian" haircut, saying the rape wasn't a big deal).
I'm not trying to attack you. I want you (and anyone who writes anything) to put serious thought into when writing about rape. Don't use it for shock value and treat it like the big deal it is.
Rape isn't cool yet folks will view a comic about kids getting decapitated by a psycho inmate. View a young man getting his brains bashed in by a barbed wire bat. Watch somebody guts getting slashed out of them in their hands but when it comes to sex on TV or depictions of rape it's often suddenly too much now and people want to get timid when it comes to that knowing full well what type of tale is being told.

I personally didn't like it, but not for any reason other than I don't think it looks good? It may 'fit her', but the style of TellTale and everything makes it look clunky and a bit of an eyesore. At least she still has her hat.
Personally, I don't like it. Her haircut was Lee's legacy and represented his sacrifice, along with Clem's hat, and it seems like the game's… more planning to get rid of both eventually. Other than that, I find this haircut quite ugly, she looks like a half-bald sheep.
It's a metaphor, her hat is like a greek god attribute, it means many things at once and tells a story on it own.
I wish they would made … morethe hat not just an element of her outfit, but something like an amulet. Too bad it evolved into some sort of genocide machine.

The Rape part wasn't that big of a deal tho like everyone made it out to be
Yeah writing a story about a 13 yr old getting raped would make you a pedo lol.
Lol
The rest of it. My heart just turned into a black-hole and it's sucking all the happiness and life out of me.. I must go.
Okay after watching this, I think It was able to fix the hole in my heart......XD hahahahaha!

"The haircut makes her look like a lesbian," well you must admit some lesbians look kind of attractive.
[removed]
Sometimes though you can't even tell. They look normal and then they are lesbians.
Fucking amazing
... You could have used "hetero" instead of "normal"...it's more appropriate...
Normal seems as good a word as any.

Beautiful.

Actually they weren't right they went on their little keyboards in their grandmas Attic and called me a Pedo, School Shooter, etc over a Fan Fic.

SHE is Lee's legacy not her hair man that's silly

Her hair triggers me.
