I remember those cool Wellington theories that were going around about a year or so ago
I remember back when us comic readers were first getting introduced to Stephanie and she said that her group was from Ohio. It seemed like at the time that it was extremely likely that she was from Wellington as TellTale had recently made an entire game about getting to a large stable community in Ohio.
Well they will likely be revealing the exact location of Stephanie's community within the next couple/few issues and based on how Wellington was handled in ANF it seems like one of the least likely places it could be now. I guess it is still technically possible it could be Wellington because we never actually saw it get destroyed (and I guess they could have fought them off offscreen after Clem left. But I think if Wellington was truly about to be brought into the comic TellTale would have handled its flashback much differently.

That would explain the trust.
For as cool as some of them were, I never got my hopes up for any of them given the fact that the appearance of Wellington is determinant.
Maybe the community in OHIO has a Trade system with wellington
