Yep, the story my dude. This isn't RPG, you didn't create Javi so you can't just choose their sexuality, the character and where they come from already exists. You only control their actions. I get the feeling you tend to play as yourself in video games so you want Javi to be straight because otherwise it would be weird or something? No one can stop you if you want to do that I guess. But don't go trying to erase the little representation bisexuals have.
At the beginning of every episode they tell us that the story is tailored by how we play. Somebody's sexuality adds to their backstory, and I chose not to flirt back with Jesus. This is why Instill believe javier is determinantly bi.
I didn't create javier but I can choose his relationships with characters and outlooks on different things. They're both the same thing, they both determine his personality, depending on if I try to be mean or nice to everyone.

**Javier: **flirts with every woman he see's, talks to Kate about liking girls and getting boners.
Everyone:Thinks he's bisexual because a developer said so even though it can be avoided (and I'm pretty sure that developer didn't create his character but idk, kinda ruined the whole story when they decided to do it near the end instead of the start)
Javier: Why does everyone think I'm bisexual?
No, really though, did he writ javier's character? Because if he didn't I'm pretty sure he can't make a big change like that without permission. Even though it was a huge fuck up to do it at the last moment of an episode. Besides, Javier is known to be charming so saying it takes one to know one wouldn't really be a flirt... at least I never saw it as one. Whereas when javier says it to Eleanor he goes on to call her pretty.
Headcanon: Kate doesn't know and doesn't care, David doesn't know, Gaby and Mariana know but they don't really give a flying fuck
Javi: [… moreVery nervously and uneasily explains Mariana that he's bisexual]
Mariana: Yeah yeah very nice again where did you put the chocolate?
Compare what we're talking about now after the season ends and s1 and 2s ending......telltale made this up for people to talk about unconfirmed shit that might not be even true fuck this man

Ffs how does being Bi mean your Oberyn Martell, just because he's bi doess't mean he's going to cheat on Kate. Why do you have to be such an ignorant moron?
Okay, this is really dumb, now of a sudden Javier is bisexual just because he has a determinant choice to "flirt" with Jesus in the last 5 minutes of the game? honestly, that sounds like a joke that the writers just threw in the last second.
And apparently one of the writers confirmed it, i cant take any of this seriously. Perhaps the writers should worry about writing a decent story instead of throwing irrelevant shit.

But sexuality isn't personality or picking between nice or mean. I can wake up each morning and choose to be nice or a jerk. I can choose to be outgoing or reserved even if it's a bit hard.

I can't choose to be attracted to men.
Honestly, I just wish we would have been able to flirt with Jesus before and even Tripp. Also, I wish we could have flirt with Eleanor more (at least until she reveals what a traitorous %@_($* she is).
Anything but the forced Javier/Kate relationship shoved down our throats.
Agreed so much, I totally wanted to see what it would've looked like if he tried to date Eleanor/Tripp. I thought the game was gonna lean in that direction until some time around episode 4.

Since bi people look pretty much like your regular ol' human being, I would say that yes, he looks bi. And heterosexual. And gay. And... You got the drill.
Ah, I see the confusion. Sexuality is an "orientation", not a "preference" (preferences can be influenced by external factors). I understand that some people think you can choose to which gender you are attracted by because the term "preference" is often used instead of "orientation", but that is incorrect. It is purely biological, you are either physically attracted to someone or you are not. You can choose to act on it or not, but you can't choose to feel attracted or not.
Correction: It was thrown in at the last second to pander to the "jesus" fans. The writers officially proclaimed his bi in order to make it work, being pro lgbt as a side effect.

Agreed. I would have thrown my Javier on Tripp or Jesus at the first chance I got just because I'm not a fan of the romance with Kate.
Not Eleanor, though, because I didn't trust her from the start (I thought she was an infiltrated member of the New Frontier and was hiding her mark under her scarf). Tripp, on the other hand, is one of these characters shaped like a friend that I just blindly trust as soon as I meet them, and I already knew Jesus from the comics so I trusted him too.

How do you look bi? Do you vomit rainbows while wearing an "I Heart Penises and Vaginas" sandwich board?

Even when developers confirm it, I still say "fuck that". I like my immersion, dammit, don't make javier have a sudden sexuality change!
Telltale: Pushes Button
Javier:
He´s not bisexual simply because it´s not gay if you like Jesus.
It´s not gay if you think he´s hot. We all think he´s hot! Jesus, you´re beautiful.
...What?
im laughing a little too hard rn
Anger. Management. Use it.
what the ?
... You sure you're not gay?

Well, sexuality is a preference so technically you do choose
Flirting isn't cheating. Unless I missed the option that let's you sleep with Jesus...

...you hating on Generation Kill?
Are you sure you are 100% straight man? XD
...what?

I love how Javi being bisexual has literally no relevance to the entire season and is thrown in at the last second just to be pro lgbt.
Correction: It was thrown in at the last second to pander to the "jesus" fans. The writers officially proclaimed his bi in order to make it work, being pro lgbt as a side effect.
This sounds much more plausible. Jesus is extremely popular, after all.

For whatever reason.
