Did TTG lose IP rights to TWD?

Sup Brogres. During the AMA there was no indication the series was about to end, but now a "Final Season" has been announced. Some people are saying they only have the IP rights to make one more game. Do you think there's any truth to this? Do you think Skybound is pulling the plug on the series? Or do they just want to end it on S4 and people are just repeating what they heard someone say since there's no better explanation.

TTG care to comment on this? Do you actually want to end the series on S4 or have you actually legally lost the IP rights to make any more?

    In the AMA they said they'd love to keep working with Skybound in the future, maybe there was a plummet in sales so one of the parties pulled the plug or even both.
