Telltale and fanfiction?

I am not interested in reading any. I just want to know: does Telltale approve of fan fiction? Not that they read any, but that they just approve of fans doing this with their characters and they won't take any legal action against them for it. I know it sounds far fetched, but it happens sometimes. I'm asking because I am considering writing one of my own.

    People have been writing them and posting them on these forums for years, myself included. Telltale doesn't care.

    Fan fiction is fine. If you want to post some on the forums, do so over in the Forum Games section of Telltale Talk.

    I mean, when you think about it, Telltale's games are technically fan fiction themselves, right?

    Don't get me wrong, I love reading. I do it all the time, just not with fanfiction because it's very difficult to find a well-written one.
