Can I get save from Steam?

Hi everyone,
I need your advice because I'm not sure about it. I have one of the Telltale game on the Steam. It's called The Walking Dead (Season 1). I completed all the episodes and I would like to buy the Season Two.
That's why I'm asking you for the help. When I buy the Season Two on Telltale and I'll connect Steam with Telltale account....I'll get a save(from Season 1) to Telltale account? I wouldn't like to play it again. I have my reasons for this.
So it's a possibility? Will it work? ......

    I believe Season 2 just searches your PC for Season 1 saves, the game didn't have cloud save back then so you should be good

    Not unless you're using a DIFFERENT platform. In which case you'd have to Link the Steam account to Telltale. If it's a different PC, just use the Steam Cloud Save.
