The Walking Dead: 400 Days

edited August 2017 in The Walking Dead

Hi guys,
I have a question. How did you decide in Shel's story and the others? Did I do well? I stand behind it and I will not change it... I'm just asking about Shel's story, but I write the others just for the case.

1.) Did you kill the thief or let him go?
I was thinking. Let him free or kill him. Turns out it was the right choice as the guy ends up killing Boyd if you let him live. How did u decide? What have u done with him? I think it's was the best choice.

2.) Did you kill Stephanie?
I didn't really know. But I mistakenly read the spoiler about the "Cavler group" in the Season 2. I'll play Season Two today. So I kill her because she betrayed us and on the other hand without ammo, food, medicines we were on the stick of death.

Do u think I did well for the group? I didn't go with Tavia. Just Bonnie. So I think, it's the best ending, which I could imagine.
Of course. I'm not the chosen one, but it was a hard decision at all. For example. Danny or Justin. Danny is "Rapist" and Justin ruined many lives. I would like to go alone and let them die, but too late. I chose Danny and for Vince, it was a better ending.
About the Bonnie: I didn't lie, too easy. Wyatt/Russel either. Russel left Nate because Nate was insane from the beginning.
Wyatt: I didn't stay in the car and I helped the cop.

RESULTS: Everyone stayed in the camp besides Bonnie, who left.

Thanks for ur response.

Comments

    1. I didn't kill the thief because I already hated the cancer group for stealing our boat, so I found it really fucked up when they immediately wanted to kill the unarmed man.
    2. I killed Stephanie because due to my previous decision to not kill, Boyd had been killed (The only cancer group survivor to show remorse at their treachery). So i felt like Shel's arc led me to make that decision.

I ended up having Bonnie, Wyatt, and Russell go with Tavia, so i got at least a few cameos in season 2. Vince and Shel (The two characters who had to make truly hard choices) stayed behind together with Becca, like a makeshift family I like to think.

Ultimately I think getting at least one person to go with Bonnie is preferable.

Killed the thief. I agreed that it was too dangerous to let him go. though if I was truely there I would've suggested blindfolding him and driving him off a couple hours away and leaving him somewhere so there'd little chance of him finding a way back.

I did not kill Stephanie. I wanted to talk to her first, see what she had to say. I didn't like the idea of Roman just deciding who dies without consulting others, being judge and Jury but leaving the hard part to others so I had Shel drive off.

On my first play of it, Vince was the only one who stayed. It made sense to me, the rest had someone to look for or someone to avoid, but Vince was having none of it. I always had Vince join in subsequent runs though. Just because I like seeing all of the characters in season 2 even if it is badly done and disappointing.

Russel stayed with Nate, I played Russel in a way that he was shocked by Nate but was more afraid of being left alone, and I think it makes his character development feel better.

Vince I sided with Danny initially since he came across as the better person of the two, standing up to the cop, showing remorse. Justin seemed weasily and proud of himself so I was less inclined to trust him.

I had Bonnie lie, since I feel it suits her character more.

Wyatt stayed in the car and drove off.

  • I've done all sorts of combinations in my playthroughs, but I'll try to go with my original.

I wanted to play Shel as a hard-ass. So, I killed the thief and Stephanie (who honestly, was an easier choice than the thief, really it's more of a question of Roman's craziness than whether or not she should be killed).

    Russel left Nate.

Wyatt won paper-rock-scissors and drove off.

Vince left with Justin because Danny was a statutory rapist. It would help if we knew her age a little more. Considering Russel's comments about Danny, I have no problem with that.

Bonnie lied and didn't convince Lieland to come with her.

Tavia took Bonnie, Vince, Wyatt, and Russel.
