How do I keep Kate, David, Javi,, & Conrad alive at the end of the game?

I've played through the whole game making the good choices (well, what I thought were good choices). However, after we saved Richmond & looked for David & Gabe, David was dead & Gabe was bitten. Where did I mess up? I'll outline the major decisions I made in the game, so please bear with me.

Episode 1

  1. I didn't stay the night in the junkyard
  2. I didn't shoot the driver
  3. I got locked up after Clementine shot & killed the dealer (I was on her side)
  4. I went to the junkyard with Tripp
  5. I chose to go with my family instead of fight the New Frontier with Clementine

Episode 2

  1. I stayed out of David & Kate's argument (Earlier when she broke the glass, I pulled my hand away when she grabbed it)
  2. I surrendered to the New Frontier at Prescott
  3. I trusted Paul (aka Jesus)
  4. I let Conrad capture Clementine (At the end of the game, I told Max that I didn't agree with it, in order to be on Clementine's good side)
  5. I surrendered to Max's demands

Episode 3

  1. I kept Mariana's murder to myself per David's wishes
  2. I had Clementine save AJ by injecting him with the medicine (I said goodbye to him, rather than spit in David's face)
  3. I let Badger turn rather than kill him (should I have let Conrad decide what to do with him? Also, while at the hideout, I hesitated to let David in, to keep on Clementine's good side)
  4. I I brought Max back with me
  5. I chose to leave with Kate (maybe I should have remained loyal to David?)

Episode 4

  1. I promised to help Kate with family
  2. I assisted in Lingard's suicide (should I have refeused? He would have eventually told Clementine where AJ was at the end of the game)
  3. I didn't share Kate's feelings (I said I couldn't do that to David & Kate was hurt, but she accepted it)
  4. I tried to save Tripp (maybe I should have saved Ava instead, to be on David' side? Either way, one of them would have been shot dead by Joan)
  5. I took the deal rather than shoot Joan (maybe I should have shot her, so David wouldn't have been mad at me?)

Towards the end, when I was about to get run over by Kate driving the truck, Conrad got killed by moving me out of the way (I didn't hit the arrow in time, so that probably would have kept him alive if I did.)

Episode 5

  1. I stepped up to help David
  2. I denied having a relationship with Kate, but David didn't believe me (is there a way he would have?)
  3. I showed my love for David as he took out his anger at me
  4. I went with Kate to save Richmond (Clementine joined me)
  5. Clementine teamed up with me

So, where did I go wrong?

    You can't keep both David & Kate alive in the ending. The only two you can let live is Gabe & Kate or David & Gabe.

    As for Conrad, don't shoot him in Ep2, give him the gun in Ep3, don't miss the truck QTE in the Ep4 ending, then Conrad shall live in Ep5.

    All i will say is you can not keep both david and kate alive but here is how

    Keep david alive: (both clem and javi go after gabe and david)

    keep kate alive: (go with kate and clem goes after gabe and david) or (clem and javi go with kate)

    keep gabe alive: (javi and clem go after gabe and david) or (go after gabe and david and clem goes with kate) or (you go with kate and clem goes after gabe and david)

    only way gabe dies if you and clem both go with kate

    keep conrad alive: (acccept plan in ep 2) (give gun in ep 3) (make sure to dodge the truck at the end of ep 4)

    And depending on where clem goes is by this

    If you accept Ava's offer and inject AJ, your Clem will be loyal and she will follow Javi's lead.

    If you accept Ava's offer and obey them with AJ, your Clem will be understanding and will go after Gabe.

    If you reject Ava's offer and *inject AJ, *your Clem will be levelheaded and will go wherever Javi doesn't.

    If you reject Ava's offer and obey them with AJ, your Clem will be forgiving and will, again, go after Gabe.

    If you reject Ava's offer, inject AJ and spit in David's face, your Clem will be cold and will go with Kate.

    If you reject Ava's offer, obey them with AJ and spit in David's face, your Clem will be honest and will, again, go wherever Javi doesn't.

    If you accept Ava's offer, inject AJ and spit in David's face, your Clem will be bold and will, again, follow Javi's lead.

    If you accept Ava's offer, obey them with AJ and spit in David's face, your Clem will be justified and will, again, go with Kate.

    if you dont know these are the flash back options in ep 2 and 3 and it decides on where clem goes on ep5
