Okay so I have been looking for an answer to this for a while. Not that it matters how she died because... she died. But it would be nice to know what could have caused it as from the camera angles given to us we couldn't see a bite. she could have possibly been bitten in the ankle or somewhere where the least amount of focus is shown. It is a silly idea but it would be good to know what lead to her death. Any ideas anyone?

    Yeah, as far as everyone else has seen, there is no bite marks. And while going with her has sequences where walkers try to climb the bulldozer-thing's sides, it doesn't account for how she completed David's mission(without opening the gate and with the dozer nowhere to be seen) and then turned so fast within the vicinity of the wall.

    Thats true as unlikely as it sounds she couldve entered Richmond by the breach in the wall (it sounds stupid but it could be possible even if it is very unlikely) and steered the bulldozer around so she could pick up the armored vehicle. I think we may need Alyssa from Telltale or Adam from telltale to explain it they would definitely have the answers

    The other day someone suggested that, since she was on her own in this scenario, she reopened her wound while saving Richmond and died of internal bleeding and then turned.

    My theory is that Kate was suppose to die when the van crashed and exploded in Episode 4 and her non-bitten model was suppose to show up afterwards. Some higher ups at Telltale decided to rewrite the story so she survives and the model was reused for that ending. Either that or Telltale just forgot to add a bite mark for whatever reason.

    Though in-game internal bleeding was probably the cause.

    Alternatively, perhaps when Kate first showed up, there was someone there that opened the gate for her, but later left. Then Jesus and the knights showed up and got stuck outside as a result.
