So the final choice of the series.

Is surely going to be choosing to sacrifice yourself for AJ, or to lose him.

It's gonna be a choice between having Clementine lose the only thing she has left to live for, her adopted son, and thus ending on a horrible note for her as a character through our own selfishness of wanting to save OUR adopted daughter. Or we're going to have to do what's right for Clementine, and what we want her to be like as a person, and WE'RE going to lose HER in a final act of bravery.

What do you say?

  • Personally, I'm one of those people who thought the choice wouldn't be Clementine sacrificing in the way most would immediately assume.

  • Doubt it. I don’t see them killing Clementine without a legitimate reason. Her sacrificing her life to save AJ is too similar to Lee sacrificing his to save Clem’s. It’ll just be recycling S1’s ending, which is a terrible idea.

The final choice will either be returning to Richmond or finding another safe place. Many people don’t want Clem to go back to Richmond (me included), so you deciding on how and where Clem should live sounds better.

  • See, this is the problem with having Telltale "hijack" Clementines character for a season, suddenly Clementines only reason to live is AJ, which was never the case to me, Clementine wanted to live because its better than dying, if you die, theres nothing, if you live, theres at least something, Clementine sacrificing herself to save AJ would make little sense compared to Lees sacrifice, AJ isnt even able to speak yet, his chances of survival are still VERY low, and if his protector dies, they go down even further.

Anyhow, I would hate an ending like that anyhow, since its so obvious, I hope Telltale can make up something more creative, also, Im kinda annoyed at how AJ has suddenly become this pivotal thing central to the story, he is a toddler, which means there is no characterization, which means the only reason to like and protect him is "He is a baby, only a monster wouldnt protect a baby" well guess what, the rules of the world has changed, trying to protect him is fine and all, but dying to save him isnt gonna help anyone
