I tried to make a funny but, Ya know I guess I just wouldn't agree that jeopardizing other's lives for the sake of individual survival and wellbeing as accomplishing anything worthy of praise to live happy about only if individual life was threatened by an attacker. Depends on the situation I'll say although 95% there is typically a much better thought out way with less barbarianism to solve conflict or bad situation. But going by a "me first" type of logic. Could justify turning a blind eye to plenty crimes like murder, theft, and rape. Long as it benefits you and keeps one safe. Unless your saying it's cool to commit all what is known as crimes in a post apocalyptic world that helps oneself, then society basically reverts back to their stone age ancestors ways of living. Which might sound alright long as it's not done to yourself and it's others who have had to suffer. And hopefully were only talking about humans and not lesser animals.
