I think I speak for everyone when I say as good as S1 and not nitpicking everything. But I don't wanna jump the gun and call Telltale a one trick pony, but another S1 would probably be too much of a reach.
Or, even better, don't change the story before the first episode is even out.
Trust me, you're not the only one, her new hairstyle is atrocious. I'm not saying she should have kept her traditional look forever, but God, could they give her a style that didn't look like an emo lesbian tomboy edgy teenager.
Easily one of the worst decisions Telltale has done.
Assuming they're definitely gonna make a TWD game after TFS and it's not Clem-focused, it would have to have either Christa, Lilly, or Paige as a protagonist. MAYBE Javi, if they get a Cuban guy to voice him this time and don't sidewind his bisexuality. Or like, Arvo/specific 400 Days characters, but for that to be convincing, the season would probably need to be half-over by that point and meet some very strict criteria.
Honestly, once the story concludes I'm done with the series, whether the series itself continues or not. I've about had my fill of it, and ANF replacing the core character(s) with a new cast only served to remind me about why I usually stick with a series in the first place. The concept of a series may catch my interest, but it's the characters that get me invested. I quickly lost interest in finishing the last installment, and I've no interest in following a restart. In the same way that they'd like to have a conclusive end rather than dragging Clementines story out, I'd rather end my time with the series when the reasons I'm invested in it do.
Doesn't look nearly as bad with the hat on though. Of course the same was true for the other one to an extent when she first got THAT one.
If the characters were well rounded and had believable motivations and the game was more than a playable movie.....like had more puzzles and exploration and significantly different outcomes based on your choices, I would want to play. Season 2 didn't have a bad cast. They were underdeveloped bc they died too early. Season 3 didn't have a bad cast. They were underveloped bc the writers favored non-stop action over conversation.
If determinant characters live like Conrad and get better as a character such as getting some form of plot or redemption after living then I would continue playing
