The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Save Files Constantly Disappearing

Hi There,
I know from having already searched for this problem that this issue has come up here before. None of the solutions I have seen in these threads have done anything to help me. I would prefer to contact someone at Telltale directly, but that doesn't seem possible so here it goes.

I bought A New Frontier for PC. I played the first Episode, and half of the second. When I picked it back up to play, my save file was gone.

I started again. I got through Episode 1 and 2, and closed the game for the day just as Episode 3 was starting. When I picked it back up to play, my save file was gone.

About two hours ago, I picked it up to play again. I finished Episode 1. I left to cook dinner. I came back, and the save file is gone.

To say I am extremely frustrated would be an understatement. I love these games. I love The Walking Dead games. Season 1 is one of my favourite video games, and I truly want to know what happens to Clem. But how am I ever going to figure this out if I can't play this goddamn game? Why does this keep happening? I don't think I can go through it all for a FOURTH time. This is absolutely ridiculous. To think of the time I've put in to this, only to know I have to do it again, makes me feel sick.

Please, someone, tell me what to do here. Why is this happening? How do I ensure it does NOT happen again? So far it seems that the only way to beat this game is to play the entire thing in one sitting. Unfortunately I have a job and basic human needs, so I can't sit through the entire 10+ hour game in one sitting.

I would like someone from Telltale to contact me with a solution to this absolutely ridiculous problem.

    We're sorry to see that you are experiencing an issue with your saves disappearing in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. Do you currently have your saves going into your Telltale Games folder located in My Documents?

    It should be at the following location: C:\Users\%%USERNAME%%\Documents\Telltale Games

    That happened to me with TWAU game, except I wasn't even able to start Episode 2, the game just didn't save. I read on the steam forums that this is an issue that happens on some Windows XP (and older) systems. The only solution I know of is to install a game on Win 7 - it helped me.
