The Walking Dead Series Boxset (PC)
Dearest Telltale
To begin, a bit about my first experience with The Walking Dead Telltale series. I hadn't played anything Telltale before TWD, but like most people I felt the splash that it made almost right away. I purchased the first season shortly after the second episode was released, to say that I was blown away is a vast, bordering on absurd understatement. Telltale not only managed to create an emotionally engaging and all around compelling story within some one else's universe, but they surpassed the TV show as an adaption of the superb comic it was based on, a feat especially impressive when you consider that for the most part none of the cast from the comics make it into the game. I have played and absolutely loved every subsequent season to be released. One of my very few complaints about the series is that to my knowledge there has yet to be a single physical release on my platform of choice, the vastly superior PC. While this is unfortunate, I do understand the economic reasons for this, on the PC you have a silly accessible platform for digital release, Steam. Additionally, the PC is a fairly niche platfrom, while it is far from dead as some would claim, most of the money is to be found in the console arena.
All of these things considered, on the off chance that this post somehow makes it to Telltale itself, I would like to make the following request. Once The Walking Dead series is complete please, oh so pretty please could we have a physical boxset including all four seasons of the game? I have a strong emotional attachment to my collection of physical games and would love to include such a seminal series on my shelf.
There must be people who read these message board posts who agree with me, please help me make noise in making this request, I can't be the only one who wants this.
