How far did the cabin group get?

The Cabin was in backwoods North Carolina. They travelled for 5 days before reaching the Ski Lodge in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The average human can do around 96 Miles walking in a day. With Clementine and a heavily pregnant Rebecca they probably did 20-30 miles a day tops. Which is around 100 miles total.

Do you think they made it over the border and into Virginia or not? I feel like Howes being in Tennessee makes it a hell of a way for Carver to go looking for the group when he didn't really have solid lead for a long time if they did get into Virginia.

  • 96 miles in a day is way too generous. Like you said they were walking through harsh wilderness with supplies, a pregnant woman, and an emotionally distraught child. When you also consider that they would have to constantly be on the lookout for walkers, I would say they could do 20 miles a day at best.

That being said, I'm 99% positive that the cabin group was in either Virginia or North Carolina when Clem met them. There is a North Carolina license plate at the campsite with Christa, and the mountain range that they found Kenny at was the Blue Ridge mountains in Virginia.
