Do you think some country in the world stayed stabilized? [Discussion]

I was think , could some place in the world stayed stabilized? So i created this discussion to see your ideas.
I was thinking about some country separated from world and i realized it could be North Korea!!! Just kidding ,
and i realized it could be Greenland!!! They don't have too big population , they're separated from the world and it's cold so walkers aren't too fast. What you guys think?

  • I don't think it'll be good for the plot. Being at a place fully stabilized would be an end to the story. We're so used to arriving at a new place, getting settled in and shit hitting the fan in a creative not so cliche way. With this current layout it gives writers so many outlets and possibilities to continue the story. And by "stabilized" I take it you also mean people in that area have no hidden agendas or aren't two sided people. But that's what makes it more intriguing to watch/play. Having something to always worry about. But being in a stabilized setting wouldn't be a good move for the series. It'll just become dull and not exciting to play/watch. Maybe for an ending when everyone's beat up after the war :D

  • I remember in the show in season 1 when Edwin Jenner said "The French held out the longest and thought they were close to a solution",i think Kirkman said he really regrets making that plot and they just pretend the CDC never happened.
I really wish the show would acknowledge a little more about the rest of the world, or even, the rest of the country at this point. Then again, with every thing that has happened and continues to happen with the group, it's kind of hard to visualize where and when these things would come back into place at this point in the story.

Who knows if countries are still stable in the TWD world. Maybe or maybe not. Europe or the Eastern world would’ve survived if they didn’t open their boarders up. But the thing is. The virus is airborne and it infected everyone. If you die in any way you’ll comeback uneless the brain is too damage to re-animate. So who knows how did other countries dealt with the situation that the US cause since it started in US California. Uneless it already started all over the world when people started to re-animate after they died. The government could’ve act quicker than the US, and succeed to keep control of their country. Of course we could not prove that since we never heard anything outside the US expect in episode 6 the doctor said France held out the longest and they were close to a solution. So... that’s my thought.

One of many premises I came up with for post-Season 2 story arcs had the reveal that Russia, while likely not untouched by the effects of the outbreak if it did indeed cross the Ocean at some point, managed to remain perhaps the most widespread case of orderly and functional.

  • In the comics, European countries are overrun and there is a rumor circulating the world that America is the country that has their shit together. We know how well America is faring so I'd wager that the world at large is pretty fucked.

  • The problem with this virus is that it is airborne, it spreads too fast and before people figure out what it is, it's too late (As seen in Fear).
Maybe if a country somehow found out about the virus before it spread they could make a free infected zone with regular checks on all the people inside it; they would know that death means reanimation so maybe try taking away things that can cause it ? (Knives, guns, sharp object etc)

  • And then kill the children and the elderly (who are the most likely to die) so that they don't die randomly and kill everyone inside the walls. I see where this is going...

I think they managed to stabilize situation , i don't say they don't have any deal with the walkers. And VengefulKenny , you are right , i know TWD: The Alien where Rick's brother Jeffery is in Spain.

  • No...Everyone is infected....so it really is just a matter of time...I mean you can survive in the US and places...but think about China and India...Billion plus populations...most in tightly packed cities.....Australia might have it easy...but who knows. I think with our high amount of guns...we stand a better chance in the zombie apocalypse...we just have to deal with all these mass shootings in the meantime.
