I honestly believe if there ever was a time to kill off Clementine it should be S4. No other sort of ending could be more dramatic. And If s… morehe does live then what is the purpose of ending her story here? Won't there always be new story opportunities beyond season 4 where Clementine's life still goes on?
Is it wired to think that people will find a cure or something like they found in "World War Z" and the apocalypse will finally be over for everyone, including Clem..? Or it can follow whatever happened in the comic(i dont know)..! After all humans are the dominant species..!
Already had one of those more or less with New Frontier. and Happy endings are for Disney/Pixar stories.. not quite with the Walking Dead where it's usually suppose to be depressing with a hint of disturbing.
Probably, but,I am ticked about one thing - the story length of the episode (short) - surprise surprise - and only four to boot - the others better be long or I am going to take a poll out in protest
I think it would surprise people more if she didn't die tbh. It's going to be so cliche if they kill her. It doesn't add anything to the story what-so-ever. Clementine's been through a hell of a lot and I don't want to see her die. I think it's time to give someone a happy ending for once, Telltale.
After everything she came through and suffered you expect her to be stuck on personality of a 8 years old child. People change and in zombie apocalypse its hard to mantain what worked in good old times. Telltale managed to capture her transformation from innocent girl to hardened survival yet with preserved love and kindness within her.
I never thought I'd be at the point where I wouldn't care whether Clementine lived or died but unfortunately here we are. Yes I suppose peop… morele change but that doesn't mean for the better. She's now practically unrecognizable from the girl that stole our hearts in Season 1 and made us invested in the franchise to begin with. I hope The Final Season will make me care about Clem again. I want Telltale to give Clementine an outstanding finale even if I don't have any attachment to her current characterization.
There were heavy hints like ten drawing his loved ones to go to a happy place after death(which I believe is heaven) and clem and aj being there......I hope that's all telltale just fucking with my heart for the end to be a happy one I just hope.
Oh god I hated that. I chose Tenn to draw Clementine into the picture, but it felt like I was signing Clem's death warrant. Telltale have also been teasing it in everything from comments/teasers/trailers and on their Twitter too. I hope so too that this all just some elaborate troll on Telltale's part.

I doubt it. They hint at her death way too much (both in the game and while advertising the season), so it's evident that she'll survive. Of course, given that it's the final season, it's probable that there are many different endings; some in which Clem will die, but others in which she'll survive.
I think it's beyond obvious that she dies. First of all, why would they end her legendary 4 season long story as her being alive and then move on to someone else in the same world of walking dead like Telltale said they would? It would make just so much more sense to keep going with her adventure if she stayed alive. >! And the achievements, as well as the episode 4 slide picture and title just hint at it even more. So yeah she's dying 100%

I read the wiki bio and it says it is the end of Clementines story and not the Walking Dead Series Altogether. What this could be is some wordplay to set people off sad but to my opinion I have beliefs of Season 5 and Javi being there but Clem as a side character.
What could also happen in the last few episodes is that theres a huge time difference in which AJ is less of a toddler and Clem is much more older.
AJ is way too Clumsy to be a last character and even if to shoot Clementine.
I never had the same intentions for Lee since you know he was about to die but surprisingly Clementine has hung in there for 3 whole seasons (if New Frontier counts as one unless they actually make a prequel Season 3).
Just because Clementine is maturing does not mean she will be killed and even though she is a kid around 15 - 16 at season 4 and Telltale isnt afraid to think kids, they wont.
But if they pull the strings like a wave in the ocean perfectly and kill her im still going to be pissed.
Id like to see a part where shes literally about to die but she sees Lee in a passout thought and just gets her back up on her feet.
We all want her to walk into the daylight, freely with AJ.
I also have no intentions for AJ to die either because irrationally if Clem gets sad we all do, for the most part anyways.
****Its nice to see that people arent stupid enough to think shell actually die like Jeez lol****
She probably can die based on our choices, seeing how this is the finale of Clementine's story. But I don't think she necessarily dies in every ending. We'll see.
if you check the green achievements which is Episode 4 related you can clearly see she wont die, it says 'place down all collectibles' and the achievement is called 'back at home'. you cant place down collectibles if youre dead  or unless you place them down before a cutscene but it makes much more sense by the images and names she wont die
I WILL GUARANTEE YOU IF CLEM DIES I WONT BE PLAYING TELLTALE ANYMORE AND I KNOW I WONT BE THE ONLY ONE. CLEM IS MY FAV CHARACTER. TELLTALE WILL GET A LOT OF HATE I MEAN I COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT THE WALKING DEAD SHOW, RICK DIES, GOOD FOR ME, BUT CLEM DIES WELL LOOKS LIKE YOUR LOSING A FAN AND I WILL MAKE SURE WHEN I ENCOUNTER SOMEONE THATS LOOKING TO PLAY THE WALKING DEAD I WILL SAY ''DON'T BOTHER THEIR IS NO POINT TELLTALE ALWAYS PUT A SAD FACE TO THE FANS''

I'm just saying if she dies regardless then im done with telltale end off. im just mad because its been a long time since i grew close with a character and it would scar me for life. you won't understand
Some people said it before but i believe there's going to be multiple endings at the end of the season and there's going to be one ending where she dies.
There's a lot of people who share your sentiment. You really have no right to disregard other people because they "won't understand". Some have been through some shit, some handle it better than others but I assure you, there's people who get it.

Honestly I feel like Clem is going to die. Like there's so much foreshadowing in her death. And honestly, get mad all you want at her death, in the end Telltale won't give a care in the world. At the end of the day, they put their own storytelling wants above what the fans wants. I feel like its weak of them to just cater to what we want instead of what they want.
Think about it, when Season 1 happened, Telltale had planned Lee to die and they knew how the fans would react to that (they would be pretty hostile and they were) but TT didn't care. They put how they want the story to end first over what the fans want. In the end, there's always going to be the majority that still supports them, those who didn't like it would just be in the minority.
Instead of catering to the fans little fantasies of a happy world (Which that will never happen since its the Walking Dead, not some Disney/Pixar mess), they ended it on how they want it. I mean they are behind the game and unless you're behind the game, then you can't do nothing about it.
Plus I don't see the point of her living. Clem has longer than she really should have. There have been some instances where she really should have honestly died. Leaving her alive would just leave the game open and not give everyone the proper closure. They say that they'll feel closure if TT keeps Clem alive (and I'm talking about those who say that they'll feel closure if Clem is alive) but once it happens they'll have all these questions that you want answers to. That's not closure, that's just wanting more.
And be real: Do you honestly think that AJ and Clem will find a permanent home? I highly doubt it since whenever you find a home in the Walking Dead Universe, Walkers will show up, put you out and then its "Welp back to the road" all over again. Again still pretty depressing ending. Whether she dies or not. If she dies then she dies, or she doesn't die then she will eventually but only struggle more (you know because of the cold, food going low, water is pretty much almost scarce, etc). I rather Clem die then be out on the road again and suffer finding supplies for her and AJ to survive (which again its hard)
Again, a more satisfying closure would be for her to die. The main problem isn't her dying herself, its how its going to be executed. If its well written then it won't be so bad, if not then its not.

I really hope that she does not die. Honestly I feel cheated that we are only getting 2 seasons to play as Clementine. I think telltale could have done at least one more season but two for sure. If they killed her it would make me feel terrible.
Comments
What if she can transform into a walker at will?! And while in walker mode, she can communicate with the walkers?!?!?!. That would be so cool.
you're on fire
Dude, u r so rude..??
There is a word called "Happy-ending". You know that right??

I dont want Clementine to be killed. Letting her to live will lead a way to include her in main the walking dead canon.
It’s a possibility.

I dunno! The last episode is called "Take us back" and this is the name of the song when Lee died (credits song) so I don't know what to think ......
Neh.
If they decide to kill her, it would be a bad move. Unless it's optional of course

Didn't I just say "Neh." ?
Watching a playthrough on YouTube and I just noticed. "And I'll protect him with my life, just like Lee did for me."
Telltale, please stop playing with my emotions.
Why did I click on this thread?
I can't honestly believe I'm saying this, but I think I don't want her to die anymore .
No, It's just too obvious. If she does I won't be surprised.

If Clem dies... I'll need compassionate leave from work for a hella long time
I’m fine with Clem dying provided I cry even more than I did for Lee.

Calm down bro, they said you won't feel like you got the bad ending because of your choices. That means there's probably gonna be multiple endings.
I'm just saying if she dies regardless then im done with telltale end off. im just mad because its been a long time since i grew close with a character and it would scar me for life. you won't understand
I partly agree to this you really have limited options It just depends on your choices in the previous seasons.

only reason.i would like for her to die is so i can watch all the nutjobs on here chimp out
Tbh I don't agree with this but partly so something bad is going to happen to her that wont result in death although you have a good point.
As the old saying goes "If Clem dies we riot!"
Yup, look at the flowers Telltale
