I think it's looking damn neat. I know it's just a trailer but these amazing shots, the atmosphere, a clearly defined color palette, the soundtrack...
...and Scott Gimple is writing it. I expect Fear to become just like the main show, trying to unorganically be philosophical, have characters go on long tangential speeches and be constantly questioning themselves, themes already before explored time and time again to start being reused an reused... (I will do anything to keep my people safe... But can I ever come back from what I did... Did I do the right thing... Was I justified?!?!?!?!??!). We see that in this very trailer!
I wasn't planning to watch this Season. Season 3 ended on such a high note I wanted Fear to perpetually stay that way in my mind. Erickson is gone and Gimple has taken over, I'm afraid it will become main show 2.0 and I dropped the main show for a reason... But they are making it look too damn good to pass.
Episode titles if anyone's interested (not really spoilery at all):
4x01 "What's Your Story?"
4x02 "Another Day in the Diamond"
4x03 "Good Out Here"
4x04 "Buried"
4x05 "Laura"
4x06 "Just in Case"
4x07 "The Wrong Side of Where You Are Now"
4x08 "No One's Gone"

So... everyone's alive? Also, what's the timeline, for Morgan here? It's clear he's met the Cheese Maker, and everything he saw was red(Clear). Lost his friends? What other friends does Morgan have that I don't know about? Are they gonna have a time jump? S8 ends with Morgan doing something he can't come back from. Decides to head west, meets the Fear group and wants to join them? Gets back to his former, stopping, not clearing, glory?
God damn it. I swore off this show after last season, but all of these questions surrounding Morgan... I have to continue his story. Also, what happened with Abraham? Did they sub him for Morgan, or are they taking him too? And how would that work exactly?

Too many questions.
One more. How can Nick survive being blown up?
This just screams "Whisperers" to me.Look at 0:25 looks like a zombie throwing a punch or something and I love how they kept merging their faces with the walkers.
Also, what happened with Abraham?
Morgan is the crossover not Abraham.

… moreThe show is messing with the timelines some people said it's after All out War (season 8) and they're going to explain what happened to them i think.
So yeah it's a little weird i'm actually worried about Daniel we don't see him at all in all the trailers i've seen i really hope he's not dead.
There was a change in showrunners. Erickson (the showrunner for Seasons 1 to 3) was replaced by Gimple and in an interview he said he was told to leave everyone's fate unknown, kill all the new characters (Troy, Jake, Efrain, Lolita) and only leave the main character alive, Madison, so he'd leave behind a blank slate for the new showrunner (Scott Gimple, aka the guy who ran the main show into the ground) so he could pick who is magically alive and who isn't!
Also the last we see of Nick he is rescued by Daniel so he wasn't blown up.
And yep, 2 year timeskip so Morgan, current main show timeline Morgan, can get properly introduced into the story. Wouldn't be surprised if sometime during this Season they kill Madison off and make him the lead to get them viewers.
Also, Scott Gimple... brace yourself for characters to give 5 minute long speeches justifying why they do what they do while the other characters who might disagree just sit silent, shaking their head in disapproval.

He can't die. And that is a huge time jump they're on Telltale's level.
