For the record, we have a playtest for every episode. It's just been a while since we've bolstered our tester list.

Strangely enough, Easter egg is selection G-3.

Choices in the "Vending Machine of Doom":

    Easter egg
Something that may be flan or mayonnaise
A PB Max bar from 1992
    Avocado-flavored sponge cake
    Two baby raccoons
    Circus Peanuts
    Scumm™
Seeping Juice Box with a Fly Onnit
    Krispy Lōf
A package of Sno Balls... Or maybe they're Ding-Dongs. Dunno.

Another reason to hate living in Australia *sigh*

Don't burn Australia! But, seriously, what if we could download a Beta and email our suggestions? Pleease! Aw, c'mon! I'll be your best friend!

Working Saturday Telltales? Unlucky, not to mention having a bunch of strangers round the office touching all your stuff making stuff all.....sticky *shudders*

Grog XD has too much nutritional value to be in the "Vending Machine of Doom." What are you, some kind of health nut?

Telltale: Just wondering... When you order the pizza for the playtesters, will you have it delivered in five hourly installments?

Wait, I could have pad thai? Damme!
    Awwwwww...
Well then, I guess I'll start saving money and try to move to San Francisco... in a couple of years!
Can I interest you in a fine trip to Romania? We've got... sand and rocks!

    Don't forget the salt mines!

Sooooo, apparently play testers also tend to be lurkers. Interesting, you'd think that people who like giving their opinions would post more.

I'd imagine that they're not really allowed to talk about what they've seen or played, so these endless speculation threads don't really appeal to them. :p

    It only makes sense.
    - Most forum visitors are lurkers.
    - Being applicable for the playtest should have nothing to do with how much you post but more with how your email looked and where you live and if you are free that day.
So most testers will turn out to be lurkers, if the sample is big enough.

Oh :( All the best things come from San Francisco (Telltale and Metallica)!

Was this a case of golden tickets? I saw in the recruitment section you were looking for an entry-level tester. Damn living thousands of miles away from my dream job! :'(

So, can any of these lucky playtesters spill the beans on the atmosphere of Telltale Towers?

That's for a real tester, not a play tester so it's a paid position. I don't know how much you get paid, but it's probably minimum wage and might even be enough to afford rent and food! (Ha ha! I kid the expense of the Bay Area!) Why don't you apply?

It may be a job I'm perfect for (and I'd gladly take minimum wage for the opportunity) but sadly I live thousands of miles away on a tiny (50km2 or 19 sq mi) island 70mi south of England.

Britain. Technically, the Baliwick of Guernsey (group of islands where Gsy is top dog, basically half the Channel Islands) is a Crown Dependency. We have our own government but are loyal to the Crown. The Isle of Man is in the same position, I believe.

You could always move. Okay, I'm kind of kidding, but at the same time it might not hurt just to apply you know. You're not guaranteed to get the job after all, and if you did, a one way ticket from Heathrow to SFO is only 860gbp ...

Are you sure? £860 is an insane amount of money for a plane ticket.

Now a hot air balloon... that's travelling.

Bearing in mind I'm unemployed (and looking!) and barely have a penny to scratch my arse with, it doesn't look that hopeful within the next year or so. But I'm working on it! My girlfriend lives in Wisconsin, which is a good start.

Just looking through the flights from Germany to SFO and back, it's more like €520 for a two way ticket.
(incidently, I'll be in SF early next month for SVG Open 09. Can I schedule a visit?)

How long before someone starts a thread pretending they went to the testing and revealing fake plotlines from the game?
