Least Favourite
Michone Ep1 Into Deep: Obviously this one just a bland episode that was given to us for the sake of giving us a series based on Michone. I didn't think it was terrible but very forgettable. The only thing I really enjoyed out of this episode was "Wolf" by First Aid.
S3 A New Frontier Ep3 Above the Law: Just a big downer (In a bad way) it's just so boring. David is ok as a character, but he's nothing special and when you realise that the main point of the season will be trying to be dedicated to David as a brother is just a sigh. Clem isn't even enough to help this episode.
Michone Ep3 What We Deserve: If there was an episode that defines Telltale's decline it's this one, just by being extremely underwhelming. Episode 2 did a good job of building the tension for this mini-series, but this episode just deflates the tension, really the only good part is the violence of the episode which feels kinda brutal in places, however, it doesn't do the entire mini-series justice.
S3 A New Frontier Ep4 Thicker than Water: Continuing on the path of S3 A New Frontier is just a bore. You're meant to care about these characters that were pretty well done in Ep's 1&2 but they turn out to be more 1 dimensional by the end of this episode and the only really good thing I would say is your choice of having or not having a relationship with Kate.
Michone Ep 2 Take No Shelter: I think what really made this episode stand out to me more than the other 2 of the miniseries, Is the way it portrays Sam's family, just trying to survive in a home they have lived in most of there life. While yes it could be seen as stupid to live in a home your ancestors gave to you during a Zombie Apocalypse, there's some feeling of dedication that is just so heartwarming. I also love the father John in this episode and his death came so unexpectedly I literally jumped, much like I did for Doug/Carley's death by Lilly's hand.
400 Days: You play through 5 quick stories of 5 survivors. I'd like to say that 400 days was great, but the downer is. It's just a filler episode for the gap between S1 & 2 and the decisions you make in this episode have literally no impact on S2 aside from cameo's
S3 A New Frontier Ep2 Ties That Bind Part 2: A fun episode where you try and get to Richmond to save Kate (Whom you may or may not have romantic feelings for) you are given a number of characters that will grow on you and feel at danger for the most part.
S2 Ep 3 In Halm's Way: I think what made this episode just ok was the fact it didn't do much to build on anything aside from giving Kenny more development and showing the evil of Carver (Who turns out not to be a big deal in the long run)
S3 A New Frontier Ep1 Ties That Bind Part 1: This was a good episode to introduce us to Javier and his relationships with his family, it was also pretty impressive graphics wise and gave you some interesting moments while playing as a different character that is still in a way looking after Clem, also the ending once again gives you a shocking death that I yet again jumped out of my seat for.
S2 Ep 2 A House Divided: I liked this episode for literally 1 reason. Kenny the guy in S1 was brilliant and in this season he arguably steals the show. And aside from that, I did like the effects of the last choice in the 1st episode and the interactions with characters.
S1 Ep 4 Around Every Corner: A very fun episode that is based more on the emotional stability of the group rather than a full on the choice of life and death situations, highlights of this episode would be Ben and the emotional climax.
S2 Ep 4 Amid The Ruins: To me this is as dark as you can get for a Walking Dead game in the series. Death, Hatred and Helplessness are all here in this episode and the story flow of the episode is very emotional as characters die so unexpectedly and painfully, it can really pull at your heartstrings.
S3 A New Frontier Ep5 From the Gallows: The best of S3 A New Frontier as it finally gets to the chaos that you know to be the fun parts. It also does have a wide variety of choices that all feel unique to play. Overall it was a good ending to a fairly mediocre season.
S1 Ep 1 A New Day: Pretty much where everyone started, this holds up as a very good pilot episode and the introduction of new characters are welcoming and sets up an adventure unlike any other. The element of your choices mattering has never felt so interesting and the violent world of The Walking Dead looks and feels scary.
S2 Ep 1 All That Remains: Picking up with Clementine as the main protagonist you feel as though you would have more control and fun with this season, but all excitement is killed off quite slowly as you are presented with death and destruction around every corner, and the violence is kicked up to 10 with stomach-churning moments.
S1 Ep 2 Starved for Help: This improved upon the 1st episode in almost every way. It shows the impact of your choices and tells a completely different story all on its own. Definitely, one of the more darker episodes and builds upon your relationships with characters.
S1 Ep 3 Long Road Ahead: Not only does this episode feel like the longest but also one of the most emotional, as characters that you've come to love, die left and right and you also have to comfort characters that are affected by said deaths, also truths are revealed and relationships change yet again. This episode pretty much feels like the ultimate test of survival.
S2 Ep 5 No Going Back: The saddest episode of the bunch in my opinion. Not because it's emotionally beautiful like S1's ep5 but because it's emotionally devastating. Everyone that you travelled with throughout this entire season either ends up dead or betrays you. But the real show stealer in this episode is Kenny, his downfall this entire season is poetry and Clem's final decision is arguably the saddest one you have to make in the series.
Favourite
S1 Ep 5 No Time Left: Nearly everything in this episode is perfect. The characters, the music, the decisions and overall the ending tale of Lee. He's not only one of the most brilliant characters in gaming medium he's probably the greatest character in The entire Walking Dead story. It's a perfect ending to a very emotionally driven game about how you defend a little girl from a cruel world.
Is this meant for the episodes or Seasons?
Why didn’t people like s1 e4?
As far as seasons go here is my list:
1. Season 2 (season 2 and season 1 are hand-in-hand in my book but I actually like season 2 ever so slightly more)
2. Season 1
3. Michonne
4. A New Frontier
5. 400 Days (Never could really get into 400 days. It's just a bunch of 10-20 minute short stories about random characters. I wasn't sad when most of the 400 days people didn't have a big role in season 2.)
Slow pacing, Chuck's death, forced motivations to make us hate Ben, so many set ups for Lee's group to fight against Crawford yet they just find them dead and fallen apart at their base etc.
I liked every episode of the first season personally
Did you seriously just used slow-pacing as an argument against a Telltale game!?
I always get tired while playing Episode 4. It's just so slow, too long and it barely has action sequences.
Okay, since I didn't get an answer, I'll just respond to the thread title off the top of my head:

3. Around Every Corner
4. Long Round Ahead
5. A New Day
400 Days

for me atleast.
Wait, so Ties That Bind Part 1 was your favorite, opposite of Thicker than Water?
Okay, now how about your ranking of the individual episodes?
All right, here goes nothing.
God Tier: Starved For Help
Top Tier: No Time Left, A New Day
High Tier: Long Road Ahead, All That Remains, A House Divided
Mid Tier: Above The Law, 400 Days, In Harm's Way
Low Tier: Around Every Corner, Ties That Bind - Part 2
Shit Tier: Ties That Bind - Part 1, No Going Back
We Don't Speak Of Them Tier: From The Gallows, Thicker Than Water, Amid The Ruins
Never completed Michonne; in fact the first episode was so boring, I couldn't even bother finishing it.
How many times will threads like this repeat over and over agian after s3 lol wait for s4 then re-do it.
What can we say? Opinions of community members both old and new are ripe to be shared, even if some of the former see little change or variation through long-term repetition.
For me, it was kind of hard to rank the New Frontier episodes. I enjoyed every episode on an average level except "Thicker Than Water". I had to rank them somehow ^^
But yeah: Didn't like Episode 4 except the last 10 minutes
