Will you still play TWD games after The Final Season?
I'm personally going to give up on this franchise after Season 4 cause all the recent TWD games have been mediocre at the best, none of them were on the same level as Season 1. After ANF, my trust on Telltale went down to zero.

Of course I am. I love the atmosphere and lore of the universe and seeing how different groups have survived. I even enjoyed Michonne to an extent. After ANF got such criticism I feel like things can only be improved from here.
Well I am assuming The Final Season really does mean the final season of all Telltale's Walking Dead. Overkill's the Walking Dead is suppose to come out this year too, so why not just let other developers make Walking Dead games. Ive said this before, but I just want Season 4 to be atleast "good" and they can end it there. There's no need to keep milking it, just make this the last time Telltale works on Walking Dead, end it well, and move on to something else. End on a high note, not a drawn out low note.
The TV show has been really bad lately too, but the last episode of Season 8 honestly could be the end to the series. It ends on a good note despite the fact the past few years of that show have been so bad, however they wont end it there and are just going to keep milking. What Im saying is Telltale's Walking Dead dipped into that "bad quality" with ANF, but they can still just save it if Season 4 comes out well. However unlike the TV show, they should just end it when they are ahead. No need to keep going, just end it positively.
I'm still gonna play the Overkill Walking Dead (because it's made by the same guy who made payday 2 and i fucking loved that game).
And we'll see about Telltale i know some people said "yeah but if they stop making TWD games they are fucked TWD is everything that's why people love Telltale blah blah blah" well i don't agree with that, they still have a lot of other games to make.
And it's better to end it on a positive note than milking it.
Imma literally buy any trash telltale make, i dont care, they are so good to me exept minecraft.
no, but I'll probably buy games that Clem makes a playable appearance in
Why should Telltale be held to the standard of Season 1 when it's been 6 Years? Season 1 is Over. Lee is Dead. Move on Already. If not just play it again. Doesn't matter. It's just a Game.
What are talking about? I just said none of TWD sequels had the same type of gameplay and atmosphere as Season 1.
I don't think I'll ever not take a peek from time to time at what Telltale is doing. I want the final Season to get me gripped on them and wanting for more of their TWD titles, but I don't think that's very likely. It's a shame, their style really had a lot of potential.
Do you mean go back and replay all the games? I probably would eventually.
Or do you mean if TellTale releases more TWD games after Clem's final season? I don't think there will be any more but if there were to be more, my willingness to buy and play them will depend on how I feel about the final season, honestly. If I'm happy with it, then sure. If I hate it then no, and TFS will be the last TellTale game I ever buy.
To be fair, the game is nowhere near as cringey and awful as the show has become. I feel like they definitely shouldn't keep milking Clementine's story so I'm grateful she will get some closure, but there are still a lot of opportunities for Telltale to flex their storytelling/creative muscles with fresh and original storylines.
How so? I'll give you seasons one and two but how with A New Frontier? The show has gotten weaker but don't get how it's beneath Frontier's level of storytelling yet..
Ever since I started following tt it was because of s1 but after getting invested in so many different stories like the show and comics I think I will buy it because the walking deads world can have infinite storytelling possibilities.
Eh. Probably not.
I mean, if The Cabin Group ever get added to Road to Survival or if Telltale decided to just release a spinoff game featuring their characters that's just simple, non-heavy fun, then I might grab that up.
In fact, I think I'll even do one better regardless and go play some of their other, drama light game series.
of course i will replay every season one my favorite games and i just replayed season one on the ps4 waiting for the finale season to comeout and i will also replay season 2 and 3.
Of course! I love The Walking Dead
Assuming they make more Walking Dead games than yeah. If it's got Telltale on it, I'm probably gonna buy it.
Comics are pretty good rn, Overkill’s game is coming out. Yea I’m gonna stick with TWD. And if telltale did make another TWD game after S4 I would definitely get it.
Wtf is even Overkills the Walking Dead and why are people excited for it? If its anything like Payday 2 its just gonna be a horde shooter, and in that case it might as well be any generic zombie game in my mind, the interesting thing about TWD is interaction between humans, not them killing zombies
Is that the one where Not!Eleanor and her fellow doctor are fighting off turned patients and he eventually helps her put him down?
I feel like this is gonna be similar to Left 4 Dead,it has a lot of potential so that's why people are excited for it.
If you mean replaying old seasons then yeah, I love season 1 and 2 (to a lesser extent), so I'll definetly grab those games again sooner or later.
However, If you're talking about buying new titles, in case TT decides to continue the TWD franchise, then problably not. I'm not even sure If I'll be getting TFS, I'm problably gonna wait for some reviews to come out first before making that decision. The thing is, by this point, the only things that keeps me tied to TWD and Telltale as a whole is my desire to see Clementine's story wrap up, and not even that is guarantee that I'll get the game, I can just watch a LP on YouTube. So unless they really hit the ball outta the park with TFS, enough for me to restore my faith and love for the company, the chances of me continuing with whatever project they have next is pretty slim.
Based of your description I don’t think you’ve looked into the game that much.

Read this if your interested in what the game is about and what Overkill is trying to do.
Similar thing here.
Fair point.
I don't know. Depends on the characters and whatnot.
Most likely not granted there's only 2 telltale games in nearing release.
Depending on how well it's wrapped up, I might end up replaying most of the series sometime down the line when I get the urge to revisit it. Any future iterations is probably a no. I might check it out down the line if its ever in one of Plus or Live's free months and my backlog isn't as stuffed, but it's not something that really interests me at the moment.
