I'm tentatively interested. I was interested when I first heard about it, then I heard it was co-op and immediately lost interest, then just… more a few hours ago I heard it will also have a single player mode so I'll wait and learn more about that before I decide if I'm truly interested in it or not. As of right now I don't know anything about it other than it's set in the walking dead universe and 3 of the characters in it.
I will say, it's gonna be odd to be set where it is if there's no mention of Alexandria or the saviors or anyone. The 4 main groups in the comic right now, aside from this new faction, are all around the DC area. Would have been better to have it set somewhere completely different to avoid any potential issues like that. Maybe Seattle, or Chicago.
I don't have people to play co-op with. I tried playing payday with computer helpers but they're literally retarded and worse than worthless so I'll see what their single player mode consists of, if it's just co-op with AI teammates or if it's actual single player.
I'm interested in the game, but I'm waiting to see gameplay footage before I make a final decision on whether or not I'll purchase it. Can't wait for E3 to see what Overkill’s The Walking Dead has to offer.
True. However there was very little communication going on after the fall of civilization. Rick's group didn't arrive at Alexandria until about two years into the apocalypse and the Alexandrians did not even know about the Hilltop or Kingdom yet. So it all could still fit.

It's all going to depend on exactly when this game takes place. Judging by the decay in the trailers we've seen it's years into the ZA, which will be during the the Alexandria years, which are well over half the comic issues. 110 of the currently 179 issues have been spent in Alexandria. Rick's group arrived in the DC area a bit over 13 months after the outbreak. They're gonna have to make some mention of them, even if it's only a passing mention of a rumor of some settlements. If they don't at least do that it's going to be very immersion ruining for people who know the lore.

I don't know. I thought I heard somewhere (though I couldn't tell you exactly where I heard it) that it was going to take place towards the beginning. I just looked back when they first arrived at Alexandria and at that point Douglas says that the community had been there for a year. So if the game takes place in the opening months of the apocalypse then Alexandria wouldn't have been a defined settlement yet (probably just a handful of people hiding out in the houses).
But in anycase the comic has always played a little loose with the timeline and left the passage of time largely open to the readers own interpretation. Even when Rick told Douglas they had been surviving for a little over a year Kirkman still managed to add in that their calendar could have been off. I always had in my mind that the Savior war took place around the two year mark and that the group had been in Alexandria for several months prior to that.
I think at one point Kirkman said that the ending of Telltale season 2 takes place around the same time as the Savior war and he also said it was around the two year mark. But again I don't think he even pays a great deal of attention to the passage of time in the comic.

It can't come soon enough either.
Don't like Co-op?
I fail to understand how you could make that comparison.
I know, right? Grant is obviously Bill's cousin from down south.

No joke, I really did think of Bill when I first saw Grant.
Shout out to the late Jim French who played Bill by the way.
Ok thanks

I want Clementine to be released as playable character, maybe in a DLC
