Eleanor as a romance option.
To start, this isn't a shipping thread. But anyways if Eleanor wasn't a traitor and she was a romance option for Javier, would you pick her over Kate? I know alot of people want Javi and Jesus but it's definitely not happening and he already has a boyfriend in the comics. It's a shame though that there wasn't a choice to pick her over Kate as Javier though, because I find Eleanor to be hot (don't judge me on this please) and I would want my Javi to hit that. I know that Tripp and Eleanor were a thing but Eleanor said it herself, it didn't work out. And over the story she really seemed to like Javier more and only like Tripp as a friend. Also in Episode 1 Javier charms Eleanor and she finds him dashing. Then when you go with her to the junkyard, Javier tells her that she could do better then Tripp (meaning that Javi wanted to be with Eleanor instead) and she seemed to like what he said and agreed. But then after episode 1 the writers just seemed to scrap all of it and completely remove the romance with Eleanor. Why did they do this? I mean Episode 2 was tied in with Episode 1. And I actually enjoyed the romance alot more then the romance that was forced with Kate. I would've wished though that Javi could have a romance with both Eleanor and Kate at the same time. And I would STILL pick Eleanor over Kate even after she betrayed them (I really wish she didn't). But what do you guys think? Would you have liked Javier to have Eleanor as a romance option? And I gotta ask again, why did they remove romance options with Eleanor after Episode 1?

It’s because they litrally scrapped everything good in the final product also everything what the fans wanted, they litrally done the opposite to that.
I just realized that not alot of fans actually did talk about the romance with Eleanor so I guess the writers didn't care much about that.
Is it 2016 again? Where people took one look at Eleanor and said "Alternate Love Interest or New Frontier Spy--no in-between."
It's worth noting that Eleanor was originally designed to be Joan's daughter at first, so it's very possible that there would've been some conflicting loyalties and strained relations going on on more than one end of her. Which would possibly give her more in common with Javier, I suppose.
I don't know, maybe. I think I'd rather let Kate do Kate and be her partner regardless.
I actually forgot about her originally being Joan's daughter. Did they originally have that tie in with her betraying the group?
Possibly? Idk, part of me just assumes Telltale did that both as a really small mythology gag and because Thicker than Water had a habit of playing more to the audience in general.
