Determinant Kenny Responses in episode 4 (S1)
Hello! After I finished season 1 I have been very curious about Kenny's dialogues in the end of episode 4. So I did some reserch and discovered a LOT of variations of it. But i couldn't find anywhere the specific answer of "what really matter for Kenny in episode 4". After a couple of mine playthrough and reading some information I can derive this "formula".
Kenny's decision only depends from 5 choices:
1. Save Duck on the Hershel's farm.
2. Defend Duck in the drugstore.
3. Help Kenny to smash Larry's head.
4. Shoot Duck.
5. Drop Ben.
If you want "bro Kenny" you need to do at least 4 of this items.
If you want "neutral Kenny" you need to at least 3 of this items or at least shoot duck for yourself.
If you want "unfriendly Kenny" you need not to do at least 3 of this items, one of which is let Kenny kill his son.
I know that there are so many choices related to Kenny but from my expirience they're all don't matter at the end. What do you think about all this? Does my formula is suitable for your playthrough? (Also, sorry for bad english, I'm from Russia).

Y'know, that sounds about right, actually. These five choices off the top of my head really were the majority of the big-time Kenny decisions we got that really shaped his view towards Lee... which more than likely was the reason I got "neutral" Kenny throughout most of my runs with this game. Although he did say my Lee was a hell of a guy when I reunited with him at the ski lodge, so yeah.
I think I might also add the train incident onto there - the one where you can either talk him down or fight him when you tell him to stop the train for Duck. But other than that, I can't really think of many others. Nice job!
As much as I think Kenny should be the one to shoot Duck (if anyone at all), I think I'd gladly shoot him myself if it means he bros for me after trying to save Larry and keeping Ben alive.
What about shooting the screaming woman? Does that also figure in Kenny's allegiance?
And what about taking the food from the station wagon?
Someone looked through the games code and posted this “point system” thing. I don’t have the link though.
One of my playthroughs i saved Duck, defended Duck in the drugstore, killed Larry, didnt steal, shot the girl in the street, had Kenny shoot Duck, didn’t drop Ben and i still got the “you’ve always been there for me Lee” line, so i think the point system mainly counts for the first three i mentioned
Kenny's response is based on how many points you accumulate with him throughout the season, with different choices and dialogues giving you varying amounts of points. The list is floating around here somewhere but it includes more than those 5 choices, although the 5 choices you listed give the most amount of points.
