If AJ died
Let's say AJ dies after Rebecca gave birth to him. How do you think that would have affected episode 5? Would it have been better or worse?

Kenny’s character would’ve been different. I can’t see how “Jane vs Kenny” could’ve happened without AJ.
Would that have been better, Dat?
Do you think the group would have gone their separate ways?
I think the death of AJ could've been one of the bleakest moments in TT's WD S2, although it wouldn't have equated to the emotional ending of S1's ending. It certainly sounds callous to say that I would've preferred this outcome, but I do think it would've improved on S2's ending and ANF"s overall story. That actually could've fit Jane's ending in ANF having to witness such a loss, and discovering her own pregnancy.
A lot of the weight of the situation would've depended on how it was handled :: starvation due to his mother's death and lack of miracle baby formula, freezing temperatures, sickness, or walkers. I don't think Kenny would've allowed Arvo to be taken alive if the baby hadn't survived the shootout, and I do think the group would've separated sooner.
While I can't honestly say if it would've been better or worse, as it's written differently - I can say that the domino effect for the series would've made writing easier for the next installment as no one would've needed to craft a reason for a baby to disappear for an entire Season.
Poptarts, I mean if AJ had died right after being born.
If he were a still birth? It would've shifted the tone of the final act, and altered some characters behaviors definitely. Depending on how the writers addressed it, I could easily see Jane or even Kenny leaving the group at that point in the story.
I dont think Kenny would leave. He still had Clementine.
I agree, Cosmic.
I think Kenny would've asked Clementine to go with him, but from the moment the cabin group showed up everything in Kenny's life went straight back to hell. They killed a member of his group on the bridge, brought Carver up to his people, Sarita died in the escape, their negligence on simple watch duty killed a little girl and could've killed them all.
He needed a group to stick to with a baby, but I don't believe he'd have any issues at all with the thought of just taking off with Clementine and heading for Wellington.
