At this point Telltale is well aware of the fan criticism and it becomes incredibly toxic and redundant to see the same complaints on every single announcement that is made. People should be focusing on the progress that Telltale is making under Pete's leadership and the fact that they're listening to fan feedback for TFS instead of dredging up old complaints and making things unpleasant for everyone involved.
You know nothing yet...how are you making these huge assumptions that the game won't suck lmao you know it has the potential to suck and for the listening to our criticisms that will be judged when the first episode comes out so I don't have a say yet.

Man... I'm literally going to try my best to keep Clem alive this final season. After the last episode, I might literally abandon the fandom to avoid knowing of any possible endings that involves her death. Ain't nobody gonna ruin my happy place.
I think @VengefulKenny understands that the points made by the community are not without reason but I feel that they are just tired of seeing people consistently show distaste towards Telltale despite the numerous greenlights shown by Telltale that are evidence that they want to improve and make the fanbase happy by producing the high quality games that made us fall in love with them in the first place.
I share the same view as @VengefulKenny it is quite upsetting to see there is very little trust in Telltale after A New Frontier. (Sidenote I enjoyed A New Frontier but like every game out there is room for improvement) When looking at their account it seems they are a massive Kenny fan, and they show strong support to Telltale and trusts in them despite how their favourite character ended up. If they can give Telltale a chance..... why can't everyone else?
I know that this comment will most likely disregarded (not by you but any other user(s) on here may disregard it) but both of us would honestly like to see some hope and "positivity" and interest for The Final Season. It is the last time that we will see Clementine so I think we should value every second we have with her.
I am the exact same! I suppose if there are any determinant endings I will just watch them on YouTube as I love to stay true to my original playthrough. But I really hope Telltale give Clementine a satisfying and happy sendoff. Preferably one where Clementine and AJ both survive

HHHHHMMMMMM.... Theirs no way they would just quote these specific lines unless it meant something. I think this is hinting at either one of two things, 1. Their will be some sort of emphasis (big or small) on communities (or maybe a specific community ?) in S4, or 2. The final season will have an emphasis (again, big or small) on teamwork/people coming together. Shit, now that I think about it... these two things are basically in every TWD game making this comment/speculation kinda pointless.
When looking at their account it seems they are a massive Kenny fan, and they show strong support to Telltale and trusts in them despite how their favourite character ended up
Tbf, this is Kenny you're talking about. Aka the guy who got far more screentime, focus, big/shining moments, emotional scenes, chances to be "right," accolades, and plain fanservice/pandering centered around him than literally any other character in the series.

Pretty much this. As one of Kenny's biggest fans I was really depressed at how they treated him. It was really fucking offensive how they threw the s2 endings out the window in 5 minutes. But the fact that they brought him back in episode 4 for us to say goodbye said volumes about how they recognized their mistake and wanted to fix it somehow. And now with Pete Hawley at the helm I have the utmost faith that he and the rest of the company are determined to end Clem's story on the strongest note possible. They're not rushing it out of the gates to meet the release window they initially gave us, and every detail they've given us so far has taken fan feedback into account (the return of hubs, character relationships, apocalyptic settings, decisions mattering). And like you said we only get 5 more episodes with Clementine ever so I feel like people should be have some faith in the new Telltale and try to enjoy the journey and make it pleasant for the community.

Hey, at least you're not one of the poor Jane fans. Imagine sticking with a character that everyone else hates and constantly berates you for choosing, positive that you will get some kind of pay off in the end... only for everybody crapping on said character to end up getting proven right, while the other character you could have went with gets a more heroic sendoff.
Kenny fans might have gotten screwed, but the Jane fans got fucked. About the only thing they got going for them is that Jane's ep 1 model is still better than that THING on ep 1 Kenny's face.

That's the other reason why I'm not too sour about Kenny with all things being considered. He took care of Clem and AJ for at least 2 years or so, they were all happy, he found peace and taught Clem how to drive, and then died protecting them. Jane lasts a month tops and then kills herself.
I still think the alone ending was the worst flashback. Wellington was treated pretty terribly as well but I'm hoping that AJ will be wearing Kenny's hat in the final season if you chose to take it.

Listen....these people here, most of them can not be trusted...little jabber jaws....but me...well I want you to know..I think of you as the sister I always wanted.....sisters confide in each other and live in knowledge that whatever you PM me...will be met with a hearty "These lips are sealed." But you are right not to trust these others...they would sell their sisters in a heartbeat. But we are solid...so I await your pm with baited breath.

I understand that they understand....I'm not bashing. If you looked at my comment my only complaint was AJ not being the whole plot in tfs because it's been used a lot that's all and yes if I didn't have faith in telltale I wouldn't be here right now.....

I suspect he is most likely talking about how they are planning character journeys throughout the whole season rather than just episode 1, at this point palnning for later episodes will only be in the talking stages and could change slightly.
Im assuming this means we will get a full trailer and probably a release date at E3, but if Telltale was super cool and radical they would like, do it before E3 before it gets buried with all the other news and just release a trailer like next week so it gets a ton of traction amirit fellas hahaha
Also @mostlypoptarts hmu with some PRIVATE INSIDER INFO and I will never ask for Rhys socks ever again. Its a win win, please poptarts this is a good deal and you know it famo
I know I told @mostlypoptarts I would not reveal the release date...but let's be honest...I am not to be trusted in matters such as this...so I will tell you what she said in the PM.....

If by "tough heart wrenching decision" they mean having to choose between Clem or AJ, that's gonna be the easiest decision I'll ever make in a TellTale game. AJ can fuck off and die. I know I've said it all over these forums and some people are probably sick of me saying it, but I wanted nothing more than to toss him in a dumpster and leave him the moment Clem got saddled with him. When I thought he was dead in season 3 I was super happy then they took my happiness away by revealing he was still alive and forcing Clem to go after him.

They're starting to tease us. If not next week, E3 should have at least a date with a teaser trailer. This place is about to blow up with activity.

My bad. Sorry for jumping to conclusions
I was aggressive a little too so I think we're even:p
Reading that tweet again I wonder how far into development the game is since he says "talking" rather than testing or screening.
Good T.T thank god
I didn't post my comment with any aggressive intent. So if it looks like that I am sorry. I have to work on what I type
