Why is The Final Season price cheaper than others?
I've checked steam recently and noticed that the price for this season is only $18, compared to Season 1, 2, and ANF which are $25.
Why is that?
I know it has been confirmed to have 4 episodes as of now, but I don't want the reduction in quality considering this is the conclusion of the series

Probably because it's $5 an episode, and if you preorder you get 10% off which brings it down by another $2...
unless you're in Europe. We gotta deal with the same price as 5 episode seasons...
What Monkey said above. Episodes are 5$, it makes it 20$ total since there are only 4 episodes in this season.
...I remember when I had those prices. Walking Dead. Season 1.
Then they just got more expensive over here. Batman S1 started the whole 35/37$CAD season thing. At least they're a bit cheaper now.
Well it is 4 episodes meaning it'll be cheaper than 5. I wouldn't hope telltale would try to charge more for less content, but.....
There are only 4 episodes? Wow this season's already off to a bad start
Well in a way S3 was also four episodes sadly.
No no...see episode 1 was too big...so they had to split it into 2 episodes.
Cause it's head game is supposedly stronger.
It's okay for it to be 4 episodes as long as they can maintain the expected quality for finals. I'd rather pay more if we can have a perfect conclusion, to be honest, that's why I expect the total price would be at least the same.
In all honesty The Wolf Among Us has the content of four episodes episodes four and five were so short they may as well have been one episode and yet TWAU it is one of their best games. It doesn't neccessarily have to be 5 episodes in order to be good. We won't know for sure until the game actually comes out.
Wait what? TFS is only 4 episodes? What the shit.
Be glad, for me TFS is without the pre-order discount even more expensive than the regular 5 episodes season.
If you’re talking about Steam, wait before pre-ordering. Fixes for regional prices are coming early july.
Yeah but it's likely these episodes won't be as long as any of TWAU's episodes. When factored in that the longest episode in ANF is Telltale's standard 90 minutes
Fair play to Pete for addressing this and not tip-toeing around it. I feel that Telltale will excel under his leadership
That being the case, wait for it to go on sale. Don't spend more for less.
7$ in Russia for preorder.
Something goes wrong on Steam:)
Oh so why did S1 have five episodes? Should've been bout eleven in this case..
Don't worry, I don't think I'm going to pre-order it anyway.
