Did Telltale Ever Start Developing S3 for Last Gen Consoles?
When Season 3 was first announced, it was announced for Xbox 360 and PS3 as well. However, later on they said it would not be for last gen, I feel like before the rewrites they were probably working on it for last gen and then when they introduced the new story they changed it.

I think they started working on it, but after their experience with the first season of Batman they decided to abandon this idea.
They originally planned on releasing it for last gen, but the new engine proved too difficult for last gen as shown with Batman.
