Foreign People's Reactions To The Game Dubbed In Their Language
It's so nice to see people who love the game who've had to listen to it in another language, which could definitely take out some of the immersion to the story, finally hear it in their own language.
I saw a german guy on a livestream freak out when he saw the option in settings (Btw clem's german actress is amazing) and also this Portuguese guy:

It's nice to see that there is now a greater variety of people who now have the opportunity to get the full experience of this game without having to deal with the hassle of reading subtitles.
They even translated the signs ingame. That's really cool!
Geez when I heard Clementine's german voice I immediately said NOPE, went to the settings and changed it back. I didn't even turn the language to German, the game just did it automatically. I thought it totally didn't suit her. Well, maybe it's just because I love her english voice too much.
Finally we won't be subjected to TT's shitty subs.
I love hearing things in multiple languages, even badly, it just adds so much to any given media.
We're just used to her english voice. Her german voice is actually pretty good. I will still play it in english, of course, but it's neat they give us the option especially for those who don't understand english.
Edit: i have to say, though, that her german voice is a little bit too high pitched. It doesn't sound as "deep" or "hardened" as her original voice.
Yeah, i remember the terribly translated german subs of Season One. There's this one scene in episode one with the woman at the hotel who was bit and asks you to give her Carlys gun, because turning isn't "the christian way" of dying.
Well, they translated "this isn't christian(the religion)" with "Das ist nicht Christian(the name; should've been "christlich" instead)", which was pretty hilarious.
Agreed. I actually do think the german voice actress did a great job. But as you said, her voice is just too high and sounds way too soft for Clementine. I would miss the english one alot if I played the game in German.
I love to see telltale doing this. I from Brazil, I know english (I learned while playing season 2 and TWAU), but I LOVE to play any game with a dub in my language. It's a lot more imersive (when the dub is good obviously. Certain games, like AC Origins, have a terrible dub that made me play in english). In the case of this season of TWD, the dub seens good. I will definetely play in portuguese, but in a second playthrough, because I very used to hear Melissa's voice in Clementine.
A nice detail about the brazilian dub: Clementine has the same brazilian voice actress that voiced Ellie in The Last of Us.

French AJ sounds better than English AJ i feel, he's got more personality to the tone of his voice
Clementine's voice in French dosen't suit her at all, her voice is too deep. (btw, it's the same actress who dubbed Hannah Baker in 13 Reasons Why)
French AJ sounds good but it's really Clem's voice who bothers me.
