Dear mods, why are so many people being banned lately?
And more importantly, why haven't I been banned? Not that I want to, please don't, I'm just curious what's going on. I've been known to be abrasive on these forums because I get passionate about stuff yet I'm still here. I'm curious what's going on that it's to the point I can't read through a thread without seeing someone banned in it yet I don't see anything in the thread that would even remotely warrant such a thing. I assume the offending posts had been deleted by mods? Either I'm missing all the good bits or I've somehow escaped notice and posting this is putting a target on myself. Is there something in the water making the mods aggressive? Do we have a new mod who enjoys swinging the ban hammer around? I'm genuinely just curious because I poked through a few of the other forums and it seems the banning is mostly localized to the walking dead forums, which is why I'm posting here.

People have been banned because they have broken rules and as you have said most offending posts get deleted.
There have also been some alternate accounts which have been banned so it looks like more people have been banned then the real number.
I am going to have to close this thread now as the Forum Guidelines stipulate that we don't allow the discussion of banned members during their timeout.
