Disliked the new controls for fighting

The demo was really good! But there was one thing I disliked it was the fighting controls. Like it was extremely difficult - well for me. I think they should keep everything else in the demo and remove the fighting controls and stick to the QTE’s. But anyway I like to hear yall opinion about this

It`s supposed to be challenging, even though there was nothing hard for me. You should not have problems with a single walker, it is still a "press one button kill". If there are more of them, stun one - kill another - kill the stunned one. Why would you have problems with that?
Also for a guy with a name Mister Pro, you are not so pro at this game arent ya? :D

  • Damn, brb, I'll get him some ice for burn lol

  • Wow, that's the one thing I thing they have done well so far, I love that it's up to the player how you go about taking out Walkers. I thought I figured out every possible way to clear the three Walkers, then I saw a couple on YouTube not kill any and escape.

  • I would like it to be scripted combat like batman the enemy within

  • It's a little wonky, like how a walker somehow can't attack when you kick it in the leg or when you're killing another zombo, and the controls feel kinda iffy to me, but I still like it a lot...It's a neat little mechanic, and it's actually pretty nice to have something semi-difficult to do in a Telltale game, it's not gonna win any rewards or have people flocking to the Game because of it, but like I said neat little mechanic to shut up the folks that say Telltale is nothing more than interactive movies.

  • Although I deaded twice due to inexperience, it wasn't Dark Souls or Bloodborne. But there is a potential concern with these mechanics. They actually require some skill, not a lot but they still require skill. And a lot of people, not gamers, play the game as an interactive movie. You know, my gf when I'm at work and crap of the sort. It also wastes a lot of time, seeing as how the episodes are getting longer. People like me, who can only dedicate 2 hours in one day to playing. It's ludicrous to not be able to finish an episode in one sitting and having to put it off, so yeah I'm concerned. Rally with me, a 2 hour premiere is fine but the rest better be <2 hours.

I mean, you don't have to beat an episode in one sitting. It saves at checkpoints for that.

Yeah but it's dumb if you can't. Having one scene left and then playing it the next day.

  • Cant see what was so hard about killing 2 walkers with mere combination of 2 buttons. Giving Telltale this kind of feedback isn't smart, they finally tried a new gameplay mechanic and It works very well. Actually I hope for some shooting mechanics to build upon showcased gameplay. Much better than brainless QTEs from previous games.

Right? I mean, RIGHT? Jesus, people now have concerns about episodes being too long? Isn't that what we all wanted in the first place, longer episodes? In most games, you don't finish it in one sitting, neither story based games. Last of us, Until Dawn etc...They all have 10+ hours story, so highly irrelevant complaint.

  • I know it sucks, I get about 6 hours of time for myself most days of the week. And I manage them between gaming, and sleeping. Acquire a taste for coffee if you're going to keep a gaming habit lol
