Differences between original save and generator?
Hello!
Will there be any differences between a file from S1-S3 and a generator save? It'll be a real chore to get to my old file and transfer it but I don't want to miss out on any extra content/depth that may be there to reward long time players
Thank you!

A save file is always better.
We won`t know until the game is out. ANF had some things that were determined by choices not featured in the choice generator (For example, Jane will mention whether you watched Kenny kill Carver or not, and that choice was not on the generator. Also, Kenny will mention how Sarita died, which is also determined and not featured in the generator). they are pretty minor though, but if it is important to you the safest bet is to have a save file. But again, there is no telling until the game is out.
A save file takes into account all of your choices, not just the ones presented in the save generator. For example, in ANF Kenny remembered my choice with Sarita since I uses my save file, despite that choice not being in the generator. Same thing with the Luke choice from the lake... the game changes slightly based on your choice but the generator doesn't give you an option for that choice.
For that reason alone I would strongly suggest using a save file over the story generator. Not to mention the fact that the story generator for S4 doesn't let you choose between staying in Wellington and leaving with Kenny, meaning that you basically have to use a save file if you want Clem to have her s2 ending scars in TFS.
Thanks everyone! Glad to have your examples from A New Frontier
