Except that's a Saturday, so I wouldn't count on it.
Its out when its out!
I should have just finished my Monkey Island marathon by then
The friday before Talk Like a Pirate Day.
Dude, that's where half the fun is!
I'm guessing it's gonna be another friday, like the last 2 chapters. (Well, thursday for you, but friday for me here in Australia)

"We are getting ready to release the 3rd episode later this month"
So "October Guys" are out of the game.
I say "later" its somewhere between next week. Voted for 19.
Come on guys
when is that pirate day thing?
Yeah. Pretty foolish if they don't.
Idiots for not wanting to work on a weekend...?
As others have said before, as charming as it would be to have a release on Talk Like a Pirate Day, it's on a Saturday this year. Shoot for that Friday (the 18th--though that's not looking too likely, IMHO) or the Monday afterwards (the 21st), instead.
They work on weekends.
I mean heck, they released a bunch of these epiosdes after hours, take ep1 for example. That was like 9PM at night over there.
If they don't pull it off, they're missing a huge oppurtunity.
9pm? It was out before 5pm their time. But if you want an example of them working on a weekend, try the recent PAX, which took place almost entirely on the weekend.
But yeah, they do work on weekends, and support staff are always on.
People would be there, so releasing on the 19th isn't impossible.
Plus, if it takes em 6 weeks to make each episode, (as it appears to be), that's gonna cause some problems down the track.
They need to pick up the pace, and release one every 4 weeks, or people will get angry.
I made a post in another similar thread about this same perceived problem a while ago in which I compared the release dates of their previous games and there have been occasions where an episode would be released <4 weeks from the prior episodes, the release date of prior episodes really doesn't affect the release dates of the later ones as much as you'd think since they're on separate production schedules.
I suppose that does make sense, they do have different people in charge of each episode.
Still, they shouldn't miss talk like a pirate day. It's the most guybrushie day of the year, I mean I always do insult sword fighting on that day. I think Monkey Island isn't much of an ask, but I think most likely they will only release a release date on that date.
But missing the 19th is a big oppurtunity, and they should be aware of that.
still, I suppose it won't affect sales so it doesn't matter to them...
But still!
So no release on the 19th it seems.
Looks like it WILL be this saturday.
Poor MajusArts though. He'll just have to guess the date as well I suppose.
But who cares too much if it means MI is coming out earlier.
Woo.
Counting down arbitrarily to Talk Like a Pirate Day seems odd to me, unless episode 3 comes out as has been speculated.
