Choice-Lock Syndrome: A serious problem
Hello, I'm here today to talk to you all about Choice-Lock Syndrome (CLS). CLS is defined in the video game health-journal (which totally exists) as, "the mental and emotional inability to alter the choices you made in your first play-through of a Telltale game or other choice based experiences." It affects almost a dozen people world-wide. Now, people who suffer from CLS have an intense difficulty separating themselves from the protagonists they inhabit when they play. Even heat of the moment choices they regret, like those made in a certain meat locker, cannot be altered, no matter how much they may want to. They may say they will, but on the next play-through, when they get to the pivotal moment in that meat locker, 3 things can happen. 1. The player shuts the game off then goes to their mother and cries. 2. The player makes the same choice they made last time, then goes to their mother and cries. 3. The player picks up the console, throws it out the window...and then goes to their mother and cries (this is the most common result). CLS can have serious ramifications, such as minor head aches, excessive crying and swearing and playing stardew valley. If you or anyone else you know has experienced CLS, call this number, 555-555-5555, and one of our many experts will answer and give you the help you need. And remember our motto, "CLS: the problem is you."

I often regret choices I made in my first playthrough and then make a second playthrough with my favorite choices. Once I found out my favorite choices though it’s hard for me to not pick them.
If I want to see a different (mostly dick move) choice play out, I usually have to resort to watching someone else play through it.
I just can't bring myself to turn Clem into a scumbag, I raised her better than that dammit!
U wot
EDIT: never mind.
This is an offshoot disorder known as Preferred Choice-Lock syndrome (PCLS). It makes way more sense and is much less harmful than CLS.
This is one of the leading (and most reasonable) causes of CLS, the inability to play against your moral code. It is very admirable.
