Is the Switch version of Season 1 a port from the original S1 version or from the Collection?

I ask this because i'm curious to know if it's the rather disappointing collection-version or if it's the much preferred original version. As we all know, the collection-version suffers from many bugs, glitches or just unnecessery changes for the worse compared to the original 2012 release.

Also: patch the goddamn Collection, Telltale!

    It's both. The menus and credits are pretty much the originals but beefed up, and the lighting/models/animations seem to be from the Collection, but I think it might have some bugs of its own. I don't remember this many wonky animation bugs for expressions in any of the previous releases.

    Overall, I say get it if you've been considering it.
