It's on schedule as long as it comes out by the 30th... You have no right to complain until Oct 1st.
This whole, "WHENS THE RELEASE DATE OMGOMG1111oneoneone" is a bunch of crap, you know it's going to be THIS month and that's all the window you need. Once they have the specific day, they'll tell us.
People are crazy, it's freaking coming and you'll most likely have it in the next two weeks...
People need to calm down. We paid for monthly installments, so far we've had one each month and there's no reason why September would be any different. We were never promised screenshots, information about release dates or mild spoilers... only a game which we have been getting.
There's still more than two weeks of September left... I'm sure it's coming, don't worry!
Man, that american crap rains on my birthday parade every year. Someone allways has to bring it up, as if it's my fault.
Now, understand that I'm no flag-waving "we must never forget" zealot or anything. I readily admit that in the recorded history of atrocities, 9/11 is barely a blip on the radar. And hey, I have a friend who's birthday is on Christmas, and she grew up feeling she never had that special day just for her.
Having said that, quite a few people were needlessly murdered that day, so forgive me if I don't sympathize with your birthday fun being scuttled by "that american crap."
They could end the madness if they posted a release date!
Nah, then you'd just start complaining about why it wasn't being released a few days before then. Oh, and then you'd argue that they're being unprofessional for not hitting that date in some obscure South-Pacific time zone.
Anyway, we waited nine years for this, so an extra week or two really is nothing. We all would like updates, and I'm sure they'll be releasing things when they're happy with it, so we might as well just be patient.
Oh, and it hasn't even been International Talk Like A Pirate Day, so they can't possibly have released it yet.
Indeed we have waited 9 years since MI4, although telltale inherited many a fan who is not used to this monthly episode format. I myself am not used to this stuff and it drives me nuts! that being said Monkey Island is one of the FEW series I am willing to go through this for. Most other games would've been sold out, and destroyed after the 3rd or 4th installment. TaleTale is doing an awesome job, unfortunately this new format does trouble quite a few of us. I guess us Monkey Island Fans are getting old and stuck in our one release ways.;)

Most people on here just want a little feedback about how the game is getting on. Fine, Telltale doesn’t know the exact release date yet, but they could post some details on their blog; we have after all already paid for the episode. I find it hard to believe that at the beginning of the month they didn't know that it wasn't going to be out in the first two weeks. Just posting 'Hey guys, the episode will probably be out in the second half of the month' would probably have shut most people up. And then as the time went on they could have given further updates like 'Expect the game in the last week of September'.
It's this wall of silence that most people have a problem with, it wasn't until this thread that we actually heard something from Jake.
We'd better not keep Guybrush waiting in that manatee for too long ^^;;;
he'd be digested to bits!
(jippie! 1st post! much love from the netherlands to TT) : D
seriously though, waiting for something awesome to be released is just stressful, but it's hardly the same amount of stress a game developer has when he's trying to build something cool before a deadline Let's just give TT a lot of love instead
I don't think you are reading my posts correctly. Try reading them with a British accent. Wry British accents make everything funnier.
In other words: if you consider me a "jack" and my posts "bullcrap", it's your prerogative to do so -- though it seems a harsh judgment. It is also my prerogative to continue posting. Feel free to ignore me.
Any british accent in particular? With a birmingham accent it just sounds dull. With a Glasweigan accent, it sounds scary.

Whatever is within your own comfort zone, though my personal preference is a Cockney or a Yorkshire accent. Just make sure you say "Oi" three times before you begin reading, then end with "Guvnuh".
But, really, if you channel Alan Partridge, you can't go wrong.

Mousse from a bowl is nice, but to put it on a person is demented!
STOP GETTING BOND WRONG!
That was classic intercourse!
The temperature inside this apple pie is over 1000 degrees. If I squeeze it, a jet of molten bramley apple will squirt out. Could go your way, could go mine. Either way, one of us is going down!!!
Couldnt resist the opportunity to rattle off a few of alan's finest. plus, the Mousse quote makes it slightly relevant

Nah, I reread them with a cockney accent, and wow! That's hilarious, dude! I totally misjudged you! Seriously. Feel free to post as much as you want! It's a free (not free $$$$ wise) internet! We all gotta post something sometimes!
Yes, that's definitely what 9/11 is all about. Nothing else important has ever happened on that date. Nine Eleven is the national day of Telltale Telling Us Things, from this moment henceforth.

You could always just not visit the TellTale site until the 30/31st of every month and lo and behold the newest episode will be there.
I subscribe to various print magazines and I don't call them up by the 15th of every month and ask them for the specific day I'll be receiving Sport Bike Magazine in the mail. I know I'll have it by the end of the month so I go about my business until I'm pleasantly surprised one day to see it in the mailbox.
At least Telltale gives us a timeframe once they know it. Usually a week in advance, so I fail to see what more you can really ask for. Call me a fanboy if you want, but it is what it is.

Fair enough, although I think you're getting confused between cockney and Dick Van Dyke.
Alan partridges voice is based on John Motson's voice, who was Born in Manchester, Grew up in Suffolk and moved quite early on to Sheffield.
Not sure what accent I'd call it, I think distinctive covers it.

I know I could do that but I'm so desperate to play the next episode I want to play it the second it comes out. I don't think I'm asking for much, just for Telltale to be a little bit more open about the timeframe. They used to be more open, we knew the release dates for the Sam and Max episodes way in advance. But now they’re very quiet about what’s going on.
The last episode of Wallace and Gromit didn't come out until the very end of the month and we only had a two day warning. Before that nothing was said about the release date at all. Ok so they where probably working on it right up until the last day but they could have posted on their blog that it wouldn't be coming out until the end of the month. I appreciate that they don't always know the release date but just a little more communication wouldn't take much and would make a big difference.
Oh and don’t get me wrong; as a whole I think Telltale are great.

Jake's leaving us to our moosey fate!

Maybe that was a clue... I did a Google search and it came up with the date September 23 2009 in relation to "moose".

So I'll be expecting the game to appear then.
"Moose?"

Ah, crap. Now what?
I've speculated in moose being month of septembre.
