Telltale is NOT bankrupt or shutting down (yet). The Walking Dead could still get an ending..

CEO Pete Hawley has stated that Telltale is not closing down and they are not actually bankrupt. By the looks of this tweet, the future of Telltale is unknown.

Perhaps this won't be the end of Telltale. Depending on how this Netflix deal goes, they could make enough to get back on there feet. This could take awhile of course, and I could very well just be holding on to false hope. But unfortunately we'll just have to play the waiting game.

Don't listen to unofficial sources and wait until Telltale makes an official statement. Episode 3 and 4 of The Walking Dead have already been written and there is already an ending. When they began working on this season, they started with the ending first. The script is in fact finished, but the next two episodes weren't very far into development. In my heart, I truly believe that we will see Clementine again. Her story may not be what was originally planned, and she could be brought back in a form other than a video game. Yes, it wouldn't be the same and I would be as disappointed as you are, but it is something. The Walking Dead isn't officially cancelled, but chances are very high that the game is not going to be released on schedule.

Hold on to hope everyone. I'll post updates and official statements as they're released.

  • I hope it’s true i would even die for it to people can play the last 2 episode

  • If the company isn't shutting down or bankrupt, I'd assume they possibly can finish the season perhaps later/sooner than anticipated.

I'm quite curious what suddenly happend that prompted 200+ firings and only 25 people left to maintain the company.
