I don't watch let's plays of a game until I've played it myself unless it's a game I'm not gonna get anyway because I don't want to be spoiled. Occasionally I'll watch a lets play of a game I wasn't intending on getting and find it so compelling I end up stopping the lets play, getting the game myself, and then going back to the lets play after I've finished the game.
Another point i agree with is, youtubers have alot to do with how games make a profit/revenue too, they should be encouraging their fans to … moresupport TT in these games, they just sit their watch youtubers play the game, I watch YTs too, but I always buy the games and support the devs etc, it is a really-really sad state of affairs from TT, they took on too much and got left with poop and vomit.
I don't know if you guys know Jim Sterling, I agree with him most of the time and I consider him one of the best videogame journalists. He made a video about TT situation and I agree with him for the most part.
