All About Lilly

edited September 2018 in The Walking Dead

I really think they nailed Lilly's characterization. She's clearly the final season's antagonist, but they've also given her a nice layer of conflict. It's obvious she's been hardened by the "walker age," but unlike Abel, who delights in the freedom of killing and maiming without any fear of the law stepping in, she also seems to secretly despise it.

She reminds me a little of Kylo Ren, in that you're intrigued to see more of Lilly, instead of wanting her killed off almost immediately. (Well...IMO. I know there are some players who will always thirst for her blood no matter what, because of Carley/Doug.)

  • “Instead of wanting her killed off almost immediately” yeah no, me and the majority want her ass under the ground boi

  • Can’t wait to tell her that Ben is the reason everybody is dead.

  • I feel like she just should've gotten more time, establishment, and effort in Suffer the Children itself.
She was probably the weakest part of the episode.

    Yeah,seriously

I'm hoping they "unfuck" Lilly's character in episode 3 or do something interesting with her because otherwise she may as well be a completely new character.

  • Pretty much.

Seems like they put way more thought into her design/appearance than her actual portrayal/screentime right now.

  • I agree. That's why I'm not so keen on the idea of characters returning. Instead of establishing an interesting new character, they bring back someone who's already been established. We of course are drawn to them right away, but they still have to tell us what happened to them when they're gone. We didn't get any of that from Lilly.
