After Clementine's story is complete, how about this for a new TWD story?
What does everyone think if Skybound attempts another TWD story revolving around either the comic or the TV show? Not necessarily based on what has already happened in either series, but in an alternate timeline. Me personally, I would love this.

So, a reboot?
I'd rather just have no more Walking Dead. Let the Legacy die on a good note.
Agreed.
ANF proved TWD doesn't work without Clementine as a central component of the story.
I’d say go for it. Won’t hurt to try. It’ll be something new and refreshing. TWD universe is huge so there’s much potential for a new story. All they need is just good characters, which I’m sure will happen.
I would like to play another TWD game but I doubt many people feel like that and I don't think a story driven TWD game will sell well.
On another note I'd love to have a new group at the beginning of the outbreak and see how things go from there.
Clementine being less involved in ANF is one of its least problems.
TWD worked without Clementine. It always had.
The TV shows and other walking dead entities have, but Telltale games have not.
There's not a character alive in Telltales walking dead who could really carry a season or even attract the interest of the vast majority of players to return without Clementine.
It wouldn't be wise for Skybound to attempt to invest in a franchise that is all but on its way out to begin with.
Not to mention that I am not sure how successful a Telltale based walking dead game would perform without Clementine.
I’d be fine with it, though I am a sucker for story driven games like that. Not sure what else they could do with it that we haven’t already seen in Clem’s story though...
That's why they (Skybound, not Telltale) should do a completely new story with new characters.
No, no, no. ANF was horrible writing. How many times. You could write almost anything but if the writing and directing was good, then it will be a great product.
@Hillbilly_Dave 's idea, but what about a group of college students trying their way in LA when the apocalpse hits? Like, not Life is strange, more serious but at the same time more fun. Like a modern version of TFS, but it's a road-trip story.
Talking about the games. Don't care about the TV show or comic.
Not like you need a TWD license to make a post-apocalyptic universe.
With Rick's story coming to an end in the TV show and Clementine's story coming to an end in the video games, I think it's time to usher out the remains of the zombie apocalypse genere for awhile.
Telltales walking dead series is nearing its end along with the show all but on its way out, I think it's best to let the walking dead franchise come to an end.
Well Skybound is releasing a new game based on Walking Dead franchise (Overkill), I doubt they will end it since they can still make some money from it.
I also hope there will be more TWDG games, I love this series.
There's only so much you can milk from a dying brand on its way out.
Its best to stop while your ahead then ruin a franchise just for short term gain.
