How did half the school burn down?
The building near the graveyard is burnt down. What do you think caused the fire? Maybe Tenn was cooking something in the kitchen and shit happened. He had to be there when the fire started because half his head is burnt and no one else has burn scars. It had to have been the kitchen since they cook shit in the stew pot outside.

Could also give Omar a bit of backstory if delved into.
Everyone knows Omar's in charge of cooking since he's got all the skills, so doubt that. But, I don't have any better ideas as to how he got burned, so it's a possibility.
Perhaps he was playing with fire and got burned.
I think is more of lab instructions given by pyro-master Mitch gone wrong. Tenn suffered because of it, and so did the building.
