I believe there was more than enough story for 5 episodes if they had actually gone to the delta base (I mean they were hinting at the delta most of the time but they never actually show the base). If it was because of budget then many things may have been taken out. Imagine if you have a 90-minute movie plan and the director tells you due to budget limitations, they need you to make it 60-minutes. You'll end up having to take a lot of stuff out that would have probably made the movie make more sense and much better.
There in no way was enough story involved for there to be an episode 5. The whole season just seemed poorly planned out in general and if it… mores true that a big reason for a lack of a fifth episode was because they couldn't afford it than the entire season should have just been scrapped and instead put the effort into finding ways to compensate employees after the inevitable closing.
People posting videos of these know nothing youtubers is getting tiresome.
