New map - treasure hunt

Did you guys check The Interloper? There's a new map which give's you access to Club 41. Did you see that new character? Could that be the judge in ep 4? What do you think?

    There is a new map. The treasure leads to some info on episode 4.

    Dammit, for some reason I have not received the Interloper despite being subscribed to it! This is killing me!

    Gah, why did I have to have a bugged version of TOMI, I can't do any of the new maps.

    Okay, so I got to the Club 41 page. I see one mouse-over area that reveals concept art of what I'm pretty sure is a pirate judge. There's two others that says I should check back next week for "MORE OF [their] SCALLYWAGS!". I assume we'll get more concept art as the date for the game approaches. Am I missing anything?

    I wonder if we'll actually get to go into the bar in the fourth chapter. Seems kind of strange not to be able to go into it in one chapter and then to be able to go into it in another.

    One of the better prizes though; I like the music.

    I haven't gotten my new map either and nothing I do makes a difference. How did you guys get the new map? No one explains how they got it. Please help.

    The Interloper is the big newsletter for those wo don't want the daily update-Newsletter. If you subscribed for the newsletter you will at least get the interloper every month.

    Can someone post a link to the page? I can't acces, only the first 5 maps are in my inventory ingame due to some weird glitch.

    But Guybrush was in the bar. Didn't you read that Flotsam Newspaper. ;)

    Well the Interloper did not give a release date, I guess that means episode 4 will not come out before November :(

    You get an animated concept art of a pirate bar. A little like the SCUMM Bar. Upon moving over certain objects, more concept drawings appear. (that is to say only 1 of a pirate, maybe the judge, up to now, it says more are to follow)

    It's the Judge. I took a look in the SWF file, and it reveals who the next two concepts will be of, one of them is a new character, and it's a major surprise/spoiler.

    I could have sworn I was signed up to the Interloper, but I didn't see mine. I haven't been delete-happy recently, so I don't know what happens.

    5 maps? Would this be the 6th then?

    I've got Shuttlemoc, Esk'Rgoh, Ikkptoo, Haighno & this one (Maplacia) makes 5. What am I missing? And what's the associated prize?

    Wow, best prize yet, really awesome music. Even better, the map was drawn by Tjibbe the Unwashable! That's the pirate name I used on the private pirates forum, and my real-life nickname (except for the unwashable part, I swear). Does that mean I'm part of the Monkey Island canon now?

    Hmmm, I'm subscribed to the interloper and got the info for the new map, but I also only have the first 2 maps. How many have been "officially" released? This would make #3 for me.
    Any clue as to what is going on?

    EDIT:
    I feel dumb! There are arrow buttons on the map selection area!
    So I have maps 1&2, but not 3, 4 or 5(which is what I thought I should have had).
    So if, like me, you haven't pressed the arrow button, check that out.

    Anyone else see the map when they look at their maps on the site, but not have the map in their inventory in-game?

    Yeah I was wondering about whether it was allowed or not. I never did the treasure hunts so I'm assuming if I wanted to get this new info I would have to do all of the previous ones before.

    Nope, you wouldn't. You can do the treasure hunts in any order.

    I wish Ryan the concept artist posted here more... I would love to see other stuff by him... maybe some stuff they didn't use.... an art book would be cool.

    Maybe after the season's end to ensure that there are no spoilers. But I completely agree with the idea!

    Please hold off on revealing the other characters that you may have discovered in SWFs (apparently those should have been obscured more!)
