    Was this the fifth map released for PC? I seem to keep missing all the info when the new maps come out :(

    pics??

    im pretty sure they just got hints from the code..... and did not actually see the actual pictures... I could be wrong..

    BTW the one that is showing now is great and the
    club 41
    looks awesome I cant wait to get in there and explore... But I wonder why
    Every night is ladies night
    is there a reason for it or did TTG just add that because it sounds funny?

    It's the Judge. I took a look in the SWF file, and it reveals who the next two concepts will be of, one of them is a new character, and it's a major surprise/spoiler.

    Nice find! Took a look at the SWF myself. I can't wait to find out what that new character looks like.

    I don't remember their being any
    ladies on Flotsam, except the voodoo lady and she can't even get off her chair. I'd say it's an hilariously ineffective marketing ploy. It's pirates though, it should be every night is wenches' night :D

    My previous post wasn't clear, but decompiling the SWF only reveals the names of the next two concepts, the pictures were not included. Per joeldee's request, I will not reveal the names.

    Also looked at the file (andIfeelbadaboutit), and it's cool. : )

    5 maps? Would this be the 6th then?

    I've got Shuttlemoc, Esk'Rgoh, Ikkptoo, Haighno & this one (Maplacia) makes 5. What am I missing? And what's the associated prize?

    I've got Shuttlemoc, Esk'Rgoh, Thinkikan, Dshrahg, Vrum, Owchee, Ikkptoo, Haighno, Maplaciea.

    The one people are talking about here is the 9th map I have and it's for Maplaciea and it leads to
    the inside of Club 41
    .

    How can I get the prizes to map 7,8,9?
    How do I get inside of Club 41?

    If you've solved the maps in LotSN, then go back to the Treasure Hunt website, find the completed map, and then hover over it, and click on the link that says "get your prize here" or something like that.

    I found them, I din't click the right arrow. I thought that the prizes would be one after another.

    Tnx for all, your help.:)

    what's all this about an SWF file? how would I go about seeing this?

    You need specific decompiling software and to locate the SWF from you temporary internet files.

    It's not worth the hassle, you'll be able to see the actual images this week anyway not just some code that will ruin the surprise.

    (although I couldn't resist!)

    does this mean all nine maps have been "officially released" or has there been some "trial&error" "guessing the code" been going on? :)

    I'm just wondering. I've missed the release of the ninth map until I've read about it here. I might well have missed a couple of the other maps as well.

    Some of the other maps were added by using random combinations on the idol heads. I saw that people on here had managed to find some and decided to try it for myself. In the threads I saw Telltale was aware so they must be OK with that.

    A map was also hidden on World of Monkey Island:

    Maps 3-6 were Wii only, which is why the prizes repeat. Wii users had to use the tiki code, because there was no way for their accounts to be updated automatically like the PC version.

    You can play with the tiki to get the prizes for 3-6 on PC, but you can't actually play the maps in-game, you can only claim the prizes.

    Anybody else know if other maps have been released? The Interloper seemed to imply there were.
  • edited October 2009
    Still no screenshots? I can't play at work and haven't had time to complete the maps lately >.<

    Believe me, a screenshot it's not capable of rendering the awesomeness of the scene with the music.

    Map 1 is there by default - you can solve it in the game
    Map 2 you get by completing Map 1 - solve it in the game
    Maps 3-6 are for the Wii only. You can complete them online by fiddling with the Tiki, but can't play the maps in game unless you have the Wiiware version.
    Map 7 was given as a link in the Interloper a few months ago, solve it in the game.
    Map 8 was given as a link on some Monkey Island fansites a few months ago, solve it in the game.
    Map 9 was given as a link in this month's Interloper, solve it in the game.

    That's all there are so far :)

    Thanks Molokov. I thought that's all there was so far, but I wasn't sure. I ... don't actually go visit the fan sites that much, sorry to say, so I thought maybe there were some new ones I'd missed.

    I haven't done the all of the Wii ones, but I think I saw it posted somewhere that the codes for the repeating prizes are the same, so no.
  • edited October 2009
    It will DEFINITELY be featured in Ep 4 with that music, they wouldn't release it otherwise

    You know personally .... I like the concept art stuff much better than the big discounts.

    Just wait until they announce a free game coupon, THEN tell me that.

    I think I would still like the awesome behind the scenes art stuff more.... I'm just into that kind of thing I guess.... It helps that I really do love the concept art for TOMI... I feel bad I do not know the guys full name I think his name is Ryan..... I hope he feels proud that he is for TOMI what Steve Purcell was for MI 1 and 2 and Bill Tiller was for 3.

    I like them both. Thank goodness we have a company that doesn't make us choose!

    Wasn't this music in episode 1 when you walked by Club 41?
  • edited October 2009
    Guys go check it out, they added more conept art in the Club 41 page!
  • edited October 2009
    The only concept arts I could find are:
    1) a bold guy with a large pirate hat;
    2) a character that seems an admiral or a judge;
    3) a cursed Elaine;

    I've also found:
    4) a crocodile's mouth opening when mouse pointing on it;
    5) the right side door opening when mouse pointing on it.

    Is that all?

    This sort of thing is always in the DVDs and on the site anyway, so I personally will continue to prefer the discounts. Then again, I'm a cheap bastard. ;)
