Anyone watch MTV in Germany?
Ok, wait, anyone in Germany watch MTV?

Guybrush is nominated for Best Character in their '09 Video Game awards (why can't the US have that? Seriously!) and you can give 'im your votes right here!

In addition, there's voting for some fancy indie games listed that I hadn't heard of. Gotta check them out now.

    oh my god, those lists are a joke >__> (still lucrative tho, neh? :3)
    A more appropriate prize for Tales ep. 4 would be the "Preis für das am meisten erwartete Spiel", as people are getting a little inpatient for it's release

    It's a shame Tales of MI wasn't nominated for more categories, that's true - but hey, I hope Guybrush wins as best character! I just voted for him. :)

    Prince of Persia had a kickass fantasy setting, ít'd be tough for an indy game to top it.

    done. hm... was guybrush in the vote - greatest game hero? - that gordon freeman won? if yes i'm gonna cut off the hand which voted for freeman.

    Uhm. Maybe I'm dumb, but nothing happened when I tried to click on the game category..


    .. plus, urgh, the site had some disturbing sound by default when I entered it.. I thought nobody made such sites any longer.

    Ja, es fehlen extrem viele tolle Games. Liegt aber daran, dass die aufgeführten Games im Voraus nominiert wurden. (Ich hätte auch gerne Spot aus "The Whispered World" als besten Sidekick gewählt.)
    Yep, there are quite a lot of great games missing. That's because the ones mentioned on the site had been nominated before. (I would have loved to vote Spot from "The Whispered World" as my favourite supporting character!)

    Voterated! Heh heh, those MTVs won't know what hit 'em! By the by, what is the Whispered World, anyway? I watched Majus' flashimation for it and thought, "Huh, that looks like a cute game. I wonder if I can buy it?" Is an English translation still under development or something, or is it available for sale and they're just not telling?

    A german old-fashioned gorgeous-looking adventure game. See AG's preview. The english version was announced for 2009, so hopefully they're getting close to finishing it.

    Yeh he got knocked out pretty early unfortunately, knocked out by Wander.

    I bet Halo fans were angry when people from 4chan mass voted for Bub and Bob, taking out Master Chief, as well as Sonic and almost taking out Samus.

    Valve was also advertising all over Steam to vote for Gordon Freeman lol

    the best looking adventure since MI 3. there even walkthroughs on youtube, check them out, if u want to know how gorgeouse this game looks. nuff said.

    For those who want to (and can) watch the MTV Game Awards '09 on MTV Germany, but don't know when they're going to air, here are the dates:

    November 27th, 10:00 p.m. (live from Berlin)
    Repetitions:
    November 30th, 12:00 a.m.
    December 5th, 8:00 p.m.
    December 21st, 12:00 p.m

    All times CET, of course.

    me too but I do not think they ever mention Guybrush on MTV here maybe its cool over there.
