    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

You-know-who looks pretty different, but it's a good look. I liked the eyes in the concept art, and they don't look quite the same here which is too bad, but it works. They got "that" effect down pretty well, now all that remains is the voice and the animation... looking forward to seeing it.

Well in the picture you can see De Singe's house and on the front Telltale site, there's a judge so if it's on Flotsam, then the Judge we see is Judge Grindstump:

Flotsam at night!! Knife Game!!!?? Brilliant.

Finally some screenshots! I really like the
Guybrush and Elaine dancing one...if only she wasn't poxed and Guybrush wasn't looking nervous. XD

Looks like he gets his hand back.
Of course, that can be fake, just like the video of siege of spinner cay where he also had both his hands

Whoa whoa whoa, I'm actually seeing Stan right now.
  • edited October 2009
    I guess
    Stan isnt a lawyer

It's kind of nice to see how far Guybrush has come in being well known. He was nothing in Secret, but now his trial is known as the trial of the century with all types of merchandise being sold in his name and honor.

Someone needs to make that draw a beard on the Guybrush into a flash game STAT!
  • edited October 2009
    I trust
    Draw the Beard on Guybrush
    will be playable?
  • edited October 2009
amazing :D... Flotsam at night will be just incredible :D

lol, how creepy is that elaine shot?

also, stan face looks weird (and not in a good way)
  • edited October 2009
Once again I think Stan looks great!... So far I think TTG has done a great job on all the returning characters.
  • edited October 2009
I'm interested to see Stan's suit in motion.
It seems the stripes really do straight all the time. You need some extra tinkering to make that happen in real 3D space.
  • edited October 2009
I think his face will look much better animated.

    Stan
might still be a lawyer, and also a merchandise salesman. Look at the T-shirt. It has his face on it and it says Trial of the Century-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y.

Majorly creepy, yet surprisingly cool at the same time.

    Neat stuff, totally cool! :)
A dark night episode and Stan's return to the series
    - that's two of my wishes come true in one episode! :D

    - Agetian

    If only
    Stan
was selling a talking LeChuckie doll. :(

    :D

The could be no better selection of screenshots to hype us up for the new episode!
-A dark night episode for Guybrush's trial? AWESOME!
-Elaine and Morgan sword fighting? That should DEFINITELY be interesting!
-Stan's back, though he doesn't seem to lawyer-ly which could be a disappointment (although his face is on the "Trial of the Century-y-y-y-y-y-y t-shirt, so who knows?)
-Going inside Club 41? Cool enough, cool enough...
-Guybrush and Elaine dancing... But Elaine looks vaguely sinister and sly, and Guybursh a bit perturbed... Can't WAIT to see what that's all about!

The first three episodes were an undeniable treat, but this is the first one that I really feel a need to play the instant it becomes available!

Im also wondering whether or not they will release a trailer for this episode.the screenshots seem quite spoilery, but I still hope there is some kind of trailer or breif clip of some sort. Can anyone on the Telltale team confirm this?

Elaine get yo hands off morgan you foo
    shes my new plunder bunny

Wonder what LeChuck is up to. The fact that Elaine is on the island means he is more than likely also there. He's defiantly up to something if he's on Flotsam. I hope they reveal his motivations in this chapter, I think it would be overkill to draw it out any further past chapter 4.

Is it wrong that I love that Elaine looks like she's kicking Morgan's butt? Not that I don't love Morgan, but it's great to see Elaine fencing and takin' names!
  • edited October 2009
The screens are awesome and Stan looks great. What else could one need?

Hah, maybe LeChuck as Guybrush's lawyer. That would blow my mind.

I had always pegged Elaine as one of the less interesting MI characters, but between her perceived butt kicking in that screen shot and the vaguely sinister gleam in her eyes in the dancing one, she just might be the most interesting character to watch in this episode!

So yes, her kicking Morgan's butt is pretty awesome.

I am hoping for some Full Throttle style action after seeing this.

As I suspected, Elaine, or whatever force is posessing her, is the true big bad here.

And it's making her do all sorts of neato things like dancing with a nice sneer on her face and obviously creeping Guybrush out, and also having an advantage on a surprised Morgan. I'm guessing she poxes out on her in a fit of jealousy.

    Good times ahead.

Maybe I am in the minority but I do not think Stan would work as a Lawyer the whole joke is that he is a sleazy salesmen stereotype.... the second you have him in another non-salesmen profession the joke is lost.

Have you not seen the fourth episode of "I Wonder What Happens ..." ?! Seriously though, that would be weird. Maybe he's bailiff? Hmm, no, not much better.

Hey, what if Elaine is the smooth tongued prosecutor? That would be majorly creepy ... and who's the cobra-haired lady in the bar with the knife? And when do we get into the bar? I'd've thought Guybrush would be stuck in the jail before they took him to the courthouse for his trial ...

For some reason that girl in the bar looks like what I would imagine Kate Capsize to look like with the pox.

I think as long as you have Stan in a disreputable job then it's okay, and being a sleazy and incompetent lawyer wouldn't be too far removed from his previous depictions... As long as he's not the smooth tongued prosecutor, I think the joke would still work.

That could be a crazy cool and emotionally wrenching scene! She'd probably be able to make a pretty good case, too...

So if Stan isn't voiced by his VA from Curse of Monkey Island, I know who else could do it. The VA for B.O.B. of C.O.P.S. from Sam and Max.

I've harboured the idea for quite some time now... but with only two (and a half pacific time!) days to go, here you go: With Guybrush locked up for most of the episode, and with Elaine having to catch up with all the quality time we had with Morgan, AND with her being pretty cool and aggressive...
...maybe we'll play as Elaine for most of the episode?

Okay, that wasn't very spoilerish, probably. ;)

I really hope Telltale will sell Stan's merchandise too, I want that doll (and the sketch a beard thing). (joke... or IS IT?)
I trust Draw the Beard on Guybrush will be playable?
    Here's hoping :D

No. I like Morgan, but I'm routing for Elaine :P
