When Guybrush wrecked havoc in the bar during Episode 1, we can hear a lady screaming. Maybe it was her, and if it is so, I guess she'll be a witness at the trial.
Considering the great job they did with Murray, I sincerely doubt that
Stan's role
will be limited to what we see in the screenshot.
I think that
the sleazy salesman archetype is thematically pretty close to the sleazy lawyer archetype anyway
so I don't think it'll be too hard to see the transition from one to the other and it still seems like a distinct possibility to me.
I really think, too, that the screenshots are less spoilery than they're made out to be. I mean, we still know next to nothing about what's in the title: The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood.
Then:
Elaine + Guybrush
is intriguing, but it doesn't really reveal anything of what's going on.
Stan
most people knew about already, and I doubt it's the whole story (see above)
Elaine and Morgan
Again, interesting, but still doesn't really tell us much of what is actually happening.
Wow, those are the best pre-release screenshots from all the games so far! I especially like the ones with Elaine in them.
The one where she and Guybrush are dancing looks so creepy, but kinda cute at the same time. And it makes me wonder how Guybrush got his left hand back.
And I love how Elaine seems to have the upper hand in the fight against Morgan! I wonder how they'll meet... Well, it'll probably be very simple, like Morgan takes the Screaming Narwhal with Guybrush and Winslow back to Flotsam, Elaine is there with LeChuck, and there we go.
Man, I can't wait to play this chapter!
But yeah, I also hope there'll be another trailer/sneak peek before the release.

Usually Telltale's "episodes 4" are kick-ass... I seriously think this will kick very big asses. MMM YEEEAH.
I'm looking forward to seeing Club 41. I was concerned when I played episode 1 that there would be a lack of pirates and piratey places in the game. Although there have been moments (the sea battle in Episode 2 and Decavas crew), Club 41 looks extremely piratey from the concept art and screenshot. It looks like its got that whole SCUMM Bar vibe going on. I guess they've been saving this one and I reckon the episode will be great (again!) The night time vibe will really help too.
Stan also looks great. I can't wait to see him animated.
Wonder what LeChuck is up to. The fact that Elaine is on the island means he is more than likely also there. He's defiantly up to something if he's on Flotsam. I hope they reveal his motivations in this chapter, I think it would be overkill to draw it out any further past chapter 4.

I bet we'll be kept busy trying to understand what exactly is going on with Elaine when at the end of the chapter, as someone guessed before, we'll be surprised with what LeChuck is up to (to some extent only of course, since I expect an extremely thrilling cliffhanger this time).

the sign on the newspaper-building (above the door) now says "Courtroom Emporium" (on the Stan pic) That wasn't there in Ch 1, was it? Has he taken over the gazette and changed it into a law firm?

Possibly all the other models have details just painted on I imagine Stan will too.. Its pretty standard in videogames so its not a big deal
