    Maybe one of her parents was a chair. I mean, think about it. The chair could be part of her body.

    I can't believe this discussion is three pages long!

    I'm sure it was intended as a joke, as somebody else said, but I'd like to think that she didn't weigh as much as she does now and that she put on all the weight while she was sitting in the chair and therefore is now stuck in it.

    The chair was originally a person who did her wrong. She's just punishing them.
